Group series (Development Hell)

So, I posted about this idea in the series discussion thread, but I think it could have it own thread.

My idea basically is to make a series with a group of people. Everyone can have another role. Someone could write an episode, somebody else could get the pictures for it, and somebody could edit it. Writing and editing can be done by two or more people (not necessary though) pictures should be taken by the same person throughout the series, unless there will be episodes focusing on something unrelated to the rest of the series (otherwise the characters and settings would look too different every episode). We could also have voice actors, but only if people would be interested in doing that and only if we're going to use videos instead of pictures. If we're going to have voice acting we probably need to add it for every character though.

So to start this we'll need a team of at least 4 people I think. If you are interested in helping with this series please let me know. First we'll discuss what the series could be about, and then we'll start work on it.

So, if you want to help, you can choose one or more form these task options:

• Writer, writes the episodes story and dialogue
• Creative adviser, helps coming up with ideas and characters and can help the writer when he's writing the script for an episode
• Editor
  
  • Audio Editor, will edit the voices and music if necessary
  • Special Effect Editor, will add special effects if necessary
  • Video Editor, will edit all the pictures, recordings and music together
• Director, gets the pictures (there can only be one)
• Voice actor, voices the characters, not sure if this will be used.
• Producer, makes sure the video/pcitures get uploaded, checks the episode's progress on several occasions for errors both in the editing and the story and will release previews (there can only be one)

You can have more than one of these roles. And since there can only be one director and one producer we could vote for that.

Here's what we need to do before we can start the series production:

• Create an account on 4shared tell me the email address used for your account and I'll add you to the series folder. If for some reason you don't want to create an account please let me know.
• We need to decide what our series will be about. I think the best way to do this is by allowing everyone to send in an idea (only if you want to) to do this just summarize your idea, what time it will be in, what it will focus on and so on.
• We need to choose a producer. You can nominate yourself for this task if you want. The producer will arrange everything, keep track of the series progress and more.
• We need to choose a director. The director will have to get the pictures for every episode of the series that focuses on the same characters/settings because it's weird to suddenly have everything look differently. You can nominate yourself for this task too.
• We need to decide how serious our series will be. So will we have a serious story or one that's just funny, or something in the middle?
• Voice actors should get a program to record stuff.
