The Needa Chronicles Chapter One/\. There are always two sides to every story, but only one true one.That is what my mother always told me. This is true. This story I'm telling you is the absolute truth. But I Don't expect you to believe it. My mother also told me If only believe something if you go and see it. So, the only way you'll really know the Truth is if you trace the events of this story, investigate, and look for evidence. I've already ranted for awhile so let's go. My name is Lanric Needa. I am and always will be a reporter. But not one of those little say what they are told reporters on holo vision. I am a true reporter. The Empire can't tell me what to report. I don't report what the Rebels say either. I report the truth for the few remaining life forms in the galaxy that want the truth. How did this all start? On Coruscant with a Young Jedi Named Skywalker. I was interviewing him for the Gateway, a paper I worked for at the time. He was exactly the type of hero The Republic Needed in those dark times. He was sitting on bench in the temple vistor waiting room. Cocky, Young,and arrogant, but with a heart of gold.

"Mr Needa! You're early!" Skywalker smiled and stood up.
"Yes, I thought I'd get the story before the others got here."
"Well, it was a fierce battle on Jadern,------- As he spouted out the story, I glanced around. It was an average Coruscant room, nice, modern, with velvet colored flooring and grey walls. Just like my apartment.
"Um, Mr.Needa, I'm done."
"Oh, ok. Thank you." I didn't listen to his story. I just recorded him speaking. I would listen to it and write it down later.
"We have an hour to kill before the others get here. I can take you on a short tour of the Temple."
" Thank you Master Skywalker. But I've been here before."
"Really? On What occasion?" He looked surprised.
"I trained to be a Jedi Knight. Turns out I wasn't good enough."
"So you're Force Sensitive?"
"Not anymore."

"The Force doesn't leave you, you leave the Force."
"Either way I Can't access It."
"Why didn't you continue your studies?"
"That's enough talking about me. How about that tour you promised me?" With a grin Anakin nodded. As we walked I noticed nothing had changed. The same teachers were teaching. The same food was being served. The same clothes were being worn. A sense of wonder encompassed me as we approached the Great Hall. Majestic statues of legendary Jedi Stood watching us. Thousands of Jedi have walked though these halls. Anakin noticed my reaction.
"I live here,and it gets me every time." I snapped. out of it.
" Is it Ok if we visit Block 45, Master Jedi?"
"Sure, and just call me Anakin."
" Sure thing, Anakin." We made it to block 45, and I guided Anakin to room 349.
"What's so special about these old dorms?"
" This used to be my room. There's the sink, the bed, Oh. Hold on a second.." I ran over to my old bed.
"Could you help me lift the mattress?"
With a look of bewilderment he lifted a finger and the mattress rose off of the bed. Under it were all of my old belongings. Trading cards of Famous Jedi like Qui Gon Jinn, Yoda and Former Jedi Count Dooku. There were some old receipts from Dexters Diner, some parts I was collecting to build my own holopad, and more.
"Wow. I'm surprised the council let you have all of this."
I laughed. " A lot of this I snuck into the Temple. Can we take one more stop?"

Sweet like the beginning so far! Unless that was the ending I couldn't tell . But I like the whole Temple past idea .

I got home and quickly called up my cousin Lorth Needa, Captain of the Carrack Class Cruiser Integrity. He was on leave form the Navy, and had some time to kill.
"Lorth, this is Lanric."
"Ahh,Lanric. I can't give you a story now but-
"I don't need a story, I need info. do you have access to the Republic CE Database? "
"Yes, level 4 access, why do you ask?"
"I need some help, pick me up in 15 minutes."

I gathered some random items, a jacket, and my holopad. Lorth came soon after, knocking on my door. Cousin Lorth was tall, skinny, and a face that looked like he was planning something. Almost like me. We walked to his speeder, an a PL-90. It was a beautiful speeder, orange and gold, colors of the House of Needa.
"Nice." Lorth grinned.
"It wasn't cheap you know. So try not to spill anything." We headed off to the GAR Navy HQ. It was a sight to remember. In peace time the building was amazing as it was, but in wartime, with gigantic Venator Cruisers docked around it, it was even more amazing. As we headed toward the data ports, we ran into Anakin Skywalker. He was surprised to see us, as we were to see him. Lorth put on a smile and stuck his hand out to the Jedi. They shook.
Anakin spoke.
"Fancy seeing you guys here. Together."
"I forgot to tell you at the Temple, Lorth is my cousin." Skywalker laughed.
"Lorth saved my life once. It was at, um,-
"Calis 8", Lorth interrupted.
"Yep. That was a sure was lucky. Lorth's Cruiser the Integrity Held off the Separatist while Ashoka and I set charges on the Shield generators-
"Who's Ashoka?", I interjected.
"Long story." Lorth Looked at his watch.
"Well General, we would love to stay and chat, but Lanric and I have business to attend to."
Anakin nodded.
"Sure thing. but I still owe you for saving my life." We walked off laughing.
Lorth yawned.
" Nice guy, huh?" I nodded.

I'll move this, I think the series board shouldn't be in the lego section anymore if those threads also have to go there. But I'll move it.

Me and Lorth walked to the Navy Dataports Complex. One of the last open to the public, it was a haven of all Military info.If you wanted to know what your cousin's laundromat schedule was, you asked her. If you wanted to know what time the Invasion of Ryloth took place, where the fleet was, you came here.Most information was not open to the public, since it was a time of war, but Lorth was in the Navy, and he could help me with what I needed. He took out his Navy ID, scanned it, and was in.
"Lanric. I'm in. What do you need me to look up? If I got caught using my clearance to help a civilian...."
"No worries. We'll be out in in little while. Look up my name followed by the name Abeyda Akintola." As he searched, I had a look around. Even though it was a goverment building, there were still pockets of crime here and there. Where there is abundance of Life, there is crime. A man was selling death sticks 20 ft away from me. A young girl was pickpocketing passerby. A corrupt Official was taking money, probably a bribe, from a businessman. I shook my head. We pretend like we're winning this War, and we pretend that life is the same as it was 1000 years ago. The truth is, we are at a stalemate with the CIS, and we are a modern society with big guns but little brains. That is why many alien species look down on humans. Sure there are many of us, and we have created much of the change is this Galaxy, but yet we still bicker like little boys, instead of sticks and stones, we have Cruisers and Clones. Same mindset, broader scale..... I was snapped out of thought by Lorth, who had a sheet of info.
