Just seeing Pinda speak Dutch, it looks a lot like German. German, Dutch and even English all have their origins in the same language. But yes, Dutch and German are very similar. That's why it's easier for me to understand German than French for example, however it's still very hard to speak it. One main difference between Dutch and German is we don't use "sch", ö, ä and ü as much/ever in Dutch. Oh and I didn't just speak Dutch on this page. I also spoke German for a bit. Yeah, forgive me if I can't understand what you're saying. It's hard for me to read German, as it only ever been spoken to me. I'm in the U.S.

It's way easier for me to listen to Tagalog than to read it.

But I guess 3 hours of German lessons each week do kinda give me an advantage at understanding it.

I kind of regret taking French.... I think Spanish is more useful and I already had three years of it in elementary.. Continuing it would've been wiser... And also, none of my friends take French and I'm not sure how I feel about the new teacher so class can be a bit boring... But then again, I always hear people saying they hate Spanish/the Spanish teachers or it's hard or stuff like that...

However I don't do Spanish classes, I just signed up for the exam, I have to do revision at home.

And I think you could only take one language in middle school but once you take Spanish or French, you can't take the other..
