Scents of berries, a clear lake, blue sk- JZZZ! I awoke abrubtly. I was strapped to a bed with metal bonds, two Stormtroopers as guards. A holovision was suspended above me, on a channel about the Empire's lastest victorys.
"Where am I?"
The Stormtrooper remained silent.
"Why am I here? I did nothing wrong!
"ANSWER ME!"
The shorter Trooper jumped a little.
I could tell that they were talking inside of their helmets, just muting the sound.
I tried my best to get loose, shaking and struggling, bending and twisting. It was to no Avail.
Eventually, I relaxed.
I don't know how long I went on strapped to that bed. Hours, days maybe?
The door hissed. The Commander walked in. A steely exression on his face, he gestured to the room.
"Nice day, isn't it?"
"Why am I here?"
"Because you remembered."
"Remembered what?"
He avoided my questions.
"You will stay here Trophy, until you forget."
I stayed in that room for seconds, minutes, hours, and months. The troopers would feed me. That was all that happened. I began to think. Was that all that a life as a Dark Trooper held for me? Darkness, Despair, trying to forget? The visions still came. Sometimes I heard a Woman's voice, other times I would smell something. This was my life until one day. At least I think it was a day.
I was strapped to my bed thinking about the Man. I heard faint noises of blaster fire. I ignored it, thinking I was dreaming. I heard it again. It was not just me because the Troopers were jittery, as if they were worried. I got excited. What if it was the Blue Coats? And what if the Woman was with them? I could ask her about the Man, who he was, who she was, what the word that they- BLAM!
An explosion blew off the door, knocking the two troopers down. It was still too dark to see anything, but I felt like someone was trying to take off my bonds.
I took them off, and, just like that, I was free.
I rough hand pulled me up, covered my eyes and gagged me.
I was not going to be taken again. I fought and fought, but to no avail.
"Let me go!," I yelled! (muffled)
"Calm down kid, I'm here to rescue you."
The voice was that of a males, deep and dark sounding, but with hints of hidden pain.
I relaxed as we made our escape. I was slung over his shoulder. I knew we were leaving, because of the fast speed we were moving at.
"Wait!", I yelled.
"What?!,said the man, annoyed.
" I need to see the hands of the dead man again."
"We will keep moving. Going back now would ensure your capture."
He didn't say "our" capture.
He ran for an hour or two, and then slowed down. He ungagged me, and uncoved my eyes.
The light was so bright, my eyes took 5 minutes to adjust.
Standing in front of me was a man in green armor, chock full of weapon, and a head covering helmet.
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me. I was hired to rescue you."
We walked some more.
"Still, Thanks."
We made it to a small clearing and a large ship.
"Let's go. They will catch up to us soon."
I looked at my last sight of Stenton.
It was amazing, with blue lakes, green meadows, and open sky.
"It's a shame the Imperials had to takes this place over."
I did not expect the stranger to say that.
We got into his ship, a large pursuit multi-role.
We flew away from the planet. We took the long way, to avoid the TIE fighters.
"What's your name?," I asked him.
He ignored me.
I asked him again.
"Does it really matter?"
"Not really," I muttered.
"Well, my name is Trophy. At least I think it is."
"Funny name for a kid."
We flew in silence for hours.
"Kid?"
"Huh, what is it?" (He had woken me up)
"My name is Fett, by the way. Heard of me?"
I thought about it.
"Nope. But still, nice to meet you, Fett."
Fett chuckled.
"Oh , remember that dead guy, you wanted to see?
"Yeah, what about it?"
"He's in the back. My employers wanted me to bring it."
"Oh. That's, well, interesting."
How was that guys? Chapter 4: Lessons learned from Fett
