Don't forget his sidekick! Cowboy Jedi to the rescue! Sidekick isn't really the right term.. But oh yes you reminded me of the "cowboy" title.. Wtf are they thinking and what even makes him a "cowboy" wtf at least it looks like they've stopped using that title Idk what Filoni was smoking during that.

Because they like seeing someone their age unrealistically battle the Galactic Empire. The Empire is now super easy to fight because the plot and merchandising calls for it. Don't forget his sidekick! Cowboy Jedi to the rescue! *sigh*

What's the point of the existence of Ezra? It should just be about the crew. Ezra is putting the show to shame IMO. If he wasn't in it the show would be much better. Him and that silly sling shot and pedophile face of his needs to get shot out of space. He's the target demographic. Nah, the target demographic is about 10 years younger than Ezra.

Their goal is not to entertain 20 year olds.

To me, the target demographic is Star Wars Fans. Six year old Star Wars fans, or just six year old boys. You might be part of an additional audience but you must realize that Disney did not make this series for people of your age. Of course you can still like it and watch it but you're not part of the demographic Disney is trying to reach.

TCW and Rebels have a similar age audience. Especially for season 1 of TCW. Both were probably aimed for people aged 8-14. But as TCW became more popular, they began to make some darker stories, with lighter ones mixed in once in awhile (Droid arc, younglings arc). It probably raised the age range to something like 8-18. I think Rebels will probably be the same thing. It'll start off more childish but slowly become darker. Because honestly, TCW season 1 wasn't that dark at all. Rookies, Cloak of Darkness, and Hostage Crisis were a few exceptions. Who knows, maybe Rebels will have a couple surprise "dark episodes"?

They said TCW's original target audience was 13+ years old boys. And they already said that Rebels tone would become LIGHTER during the seasons because they're getting closer to the victories of the rebel alliance, while TCW got closer to the rise of the Empire.

Well basically there's two sides of the Star Wars Fandom. The ones who love the Prequels and don't like the OT as much (Watches TCW), and those who are so attached to the OT trilogy and doesn't want anything to do with the Prequels or anything but OT. Then some like both....
Just a random poll but who prefers Prequel Stories (Whether that be prequel books, TCW, movies, stories) or OT Stories (Movies, Books, etc)?
I'd go with Prequel. Far more interesting, darker, realistic, and exciting.

I mean the originals are great movies, or at least the first two. But I've seen better stories and more fleshed out characters in TCW. And it kinda pisses me off that GL would abandon the people who have been defending his ass to instead accommodate the OT-Die Hards. I like the OT but I don't piss my pants whenever they throw in a space chess reference.

I honestly wouldn't have cared if any of the characters died. Unlike TCW and Prequels made me care for each character. Same can be said about Rebels. I wouldn't care if one of the crew dies, their boring. Not interesting. And they do not appeal to me at all.

Yeah I agree though none of the movies are perfect. Some TCW episodes are far better than an entire movie out of the franchise.
Star Wars is said to be some amazing, perfect trilogy (OT that is) but if you compared it to let's say The Dark Knight Trilogy, SW is sh^t.

If you didn't care for any of the characters what's the point of even caring about a movie. Without a strong character(s) you're left with a drab, boring, stale movie.

I like the OT and the PT. Also, TCW doesn't have that bad of a name. It's gotten a lot more praise now that it's over (the second half of season 3 onward really helped with that). It being cancelled made some people realize how good it was.
