I'm going to make it my life goal to point out all of Rebels's flaws.

It wasn't that bad. But I agree that the dialogue's not good. It's annoying when characters talk to themselves to narrate what they think/what's happening, and that happened several times here. Ezra likes to talk to himself a lot. The animation doesn't look that bad though. Actaully Ezra talking to himself makes sense. He is a street rat with no family nor friends. He is always alone, so talking to himself is not uncommen.

My review list of flaws for this "preview": {Spoiler}0.09 How did Ezra get on that tower? 0.20 Imperial Star destroyer appears out of nowhere. 0.21 No introduction to the location, characters or situation. 0.50 Imperial officer has a ridiculous face. 1.00 The Empire sends four stormtroopers and two officers to deal with an unarmed tradesman. 1.20 Fat imperial officer is a bully. 1.31 The officers don’t find Ezra’s behavior suspicious. 1.46 The fat officer checks his communication device as if he expected it to have been stolen, but doesn’t notice the other officer’s device is gone. 1.50 Apparently any guy with access to imperial communications devices can fool the empire. 1.55 The empire was right in punishing the Lothal for illegal trade, but it still makes them the bad guys. 1.59 Lothal trader gets stressed when Ezra, who just saved him takes some of the stuff that would have been taken by the empire if Ezra hadn’t helped him anyway. 2.08 Lothal trader talks to himself. 2.10 The officers only had to walk like 20 meters to get to the fake emergency. And there is actually something going on there. How convenient. 2.28 Ezra talks to himself, a lot. 3.00 This totally doesn’t look suspicious. 3.21 What the hell is that stormtrooper doing? Why is he just standing there? 3.30 Ezra talks to himself, again. 4.07 Ezra steals a random crate. 4.20 Imperial officers apparently don’t have weapons when they’re securing crates. 4.39 They’re saying “end you” because you can’t say “kill you” in a kid show. 4.40 Why does the pink Bo-katan only take one of the crates? 4.45 How did the stormtroopers not see that the Mandalorian took one of the crates? 5.00 Ezra once again talks to himself. 5.04 Kanan talks to himself too. 5.37 Stormtrooper catches a detonator. 5.42 The explosion does not hurt Zeb. 5.53 Kanan uses sign-language instead of just talking to Zeb (Maybe they only want monologues in this series?) 6.05 Zeb talks to the audience and says “end” instead of “kill”. 6.40 Ezra easily drives past Kanan’s “blockade”. 6.48 Ezra is gone when the ship attacks but suddenly appears behind the place of the explosion when the ship is gone. 7.08 Ezra talks to himself… maybe I should stop mentioning this… 7.18 The crate didn’t suffer any damage in the explosion.

I'll pick option C though I also agree with B.
If you pick E you have no business commenting at all about it really...

You're really overthinking a kids show and you're just angry that it isn't on par with the clone wars which it isn't supposed to be. And almost every point can be easily countered cause it's a preview mainly. But I'm not going to waste my time since I actually plan on watching the show and liked the preview.

Oh wow Zeb is voiced by Steve Blum too. Is Steve voicing every pilot and stormtrooper in Rebels too? They really need to have seperate voices for alot of the troopers since they aren't clones anymore.

I voted for the third option on the poll. I'm definitely going to watch this series, and I think it'll get better as it progresses. The preview wasn't as bad as some people say it was, and Rebels has potential along with its flaws.

Also, if this is how the series itself actually starts it's a pretty bad opening. They didn't really introduce any of the characters. They should at least have introduced Ezra a bit before jumping right to the action, or they should have shown more of the empire's invasion. But no, they just show an imperial ship heading for a city and Ezra stealing some food and that's it. Well, unless they do one of those things where it jumps right into action and then digs itself out of that "hole of confusion" by explaining stuff with a lot of back stories and whatnot. Actually, they may do that. It'll probably work better for this show, although I don't know if I like that idea better than actually seeing the Empire do that initial conquering stuff firsthand along with actually getting to know characters first before action occurs. But they way they overplayed the "who is that kid" line makes me almost think this scene will be followed by a flashback explaining everything if Erza were to be shot by that TIE fighter and knocked unconscious. It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't an expectedly terrible disappointment. Yeah, the characters have a bit of lame lines here and there, the Sotrmtroopers can't shoot to save their lives (granted that's Star Wars tradition ) but I kinda liked it. However the whole scene felt like a Star Wars version of Disney's Aladdin. Anyone notice that? Anyway, I actually liked it. Just needs to iron out a few big bumps is all. The setting definitely does remind me of Aladdin meets Mos Eisley. And I guess Erza could be a young Aladdin. I agree with all of what you said though.

You're really overthinking a kids show and you're just angry that it isn't on par with the clone wars which it isn't supposed to be. And almost every point can be easily countered cause it's a preview mainly. But I'm not going to waste my time since I actually plan on watching the show and liked the preview. A 7 minute preview..... that's about 32% of the episode. And how does the fact that it is a preview change anything? It shows us a part of an episode and enough of it to judge. Actaully they showed the full episode on Comic Con and they said it was an hour long.

Is it an hour per episode?!

Then the preview was 12% of the episode..... by that time you'd expect to know something about the characters and the plot for the episode, we don't.
