When this Series premieres it will probably be bashed to the ground because it will most likely start out light-hearted and with introductions. People will say beased on the premiere alone that the show isn't as deep or dark as TCW while fogetting the bigger picture.
After that the show either falls down or thrives and grows like TCW did. Only time will tell.

Detours looked like fun though Yeah, it did. I was saying that the animation for it isn't the type I'd want for a show that's more serious like Rebels. Yeah, I bet it's gonna be real serious  |

Yeah, I bet it's gonna be real serious More serious than Detours is what I meant. Whether or not it's more serious than TCW, I doubt it, but I mean, we can't be completely certain yet of the serious level of the show. |

It will start out lighthearted and serve as an introduction to the what and who is being set up and then grow over time if it gets the chance. Question remains, will it be good? i was just rereading past comments from this thread... okay, i know we're all so sad that the clone wars was cancelled, i miss it so much, but we haven't even seen rebels yet. i'd take tcw over it any day, but who says rebels can't be good either? i'm happy they've added in a mandalorian, she's young too, so the younger people can relate to her and ezra...
i mean, it's kind of hard to relate to sidious or something, from tcw.

The animation is a little better than what we saw in the other previews... but still nothing compared to TCW and it does seem childish (especially the droid).

Let's not forget this show is for kids.... And honestly the animation isn't that bad I think people are just disliking it because it's different from TCW... also animation doesn't make a good tv show... The plot and all that jazz have a bigger part in it.
Now that being said, since Rebels is for kids most of us probably won't like it as much as some younger people... But animation shouldn't really be that big of a deal....

I do like TCW animation more but still this is okay and better than the boring almost 2D animation other shows have. |

Yeah, I mean like Kenbo said the show IS aimed at a younger audience than us. Doesn't mean I like the look of it, though, that just means that it's sort of supposed to be upbeat.

Saw the clip this morning.
It was awesome and the animation is really good! Better then we saw in the previews.
Atleast Chopper is funny, i was afraid his humor and grumpiness was going to be akward and unfunny but this is much better.
Oh, and i really like how the art style is so much different then TCW, it sets it apart.
