I like Zeb already. When it said Zeb, the muscle, i cringed and thought he was going to be bland, but he seems to be the best character so far I predicted he would be the muscle of the group or the weapons expert or something looks like I was right But glad he's not like some thug... Even though TCW Season 1 animation may not have been that great, you could tell they were trying. With Rebels it just seems like they want to make a kiddie show to sell action figures while spending the least amount of money possible. They weren't trying... They WANTED the animation to be like that back then all wooden and whatnot...

They didn't WANT that animaton to be wooden but they didn't have the skill and resources yet to make great facial expressions (wich later they obviously learned immensely) But still, what they did was the best and most detailed animation ever put on TV. Looks like Rebels is taking that place now. It is no S5 animation, but that's because it is a new show and it has to evolve first. But it can't evolve when you come to this thread to discuss the show and all you find is a daily dose of negativity.

No Star Wars main character should ever use graffiti! And a pink armor-wearing Mandalorian named Satine Sabine? This is just stupid... Does anyone still think this series can in any way compete with TCW? A main character that uses graffiti on stromtroopers VS Ahsoka? I think I know which characters seems to be the best and most Star Wars like...

I agree there are a lot of annoying things about Sabine but Rebels isn't supposed to compete with TCW or be better than it..

Yet some people on the internet still seem to think it will be similar to TCW... TCW was just too expensive for Disney and didn't focus on profit as much as this series would. Disney is just trying to milk all the money out of Star Wars before it drops in popularity. It makes me sick that they replaced great characters like Ahsoka and Ventress with this ridiculous excuse for a Star Wars character.

Can you imagine these characters living in the same universe as Darth Vader, Cad Bane and Sidious? I can't.

Well, except for the Inquisitor... he does actually fit in the Star Wars universe in my opinion.

"Now why would a Mandalorian, masters of combat and duelling also be a graffiti artist? Does she care about honour like Mandalorians do so so strongly? Is she looking for the best possible enemies to match her skills against in open combat?
I am worried you may have missed the point of Mandalorians."

Sabine actually doesn't sound like a bad character (and I don't get why everyone's making a big deal about graffiti... it's just graffiti).
But I do agree she doesn't really fit into the Star Wars universe. Honestly, I'm feeling like it might not feel like Star Wars with all of these new, different characters that we've never seen before. I know they kind of had to make characters to show the formation of the Rebellion (although maybe they could have focused on Bail Organa or something), but then that makes me think a series in this timeline could have been handled better if it wasn't about the rebels and more about other people during the rise of the Empire era. IDK. I'm still really curious to see how this turns out.

I'm a little disappointed. When I heard there would be a Mandolorian character, I wanted them to be a gritty and toughened person, but a graffiti artist? I can deal with the pink, really I can, but 'Mandolorian' and 'artist' don't mix well.

I think she has lost her old ways since the Empire took control and now does what she sees fit.

That's a bit like what I said a couple posts up when I said she maybe an exile of her people I'm sorry i didn't see that I think she was never initiated into full Mandalorian Hood because she appears young. Not that i know anything about Mandalorians (except for what was explained in TCW) but it is just a thought.
