The animation isn't too bad IMO but Ezra and Kanan are the ones hurting my eyes.

I don't think the animation's quite finalized yet. Like, for example, look at a trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The CGI was sort of okay at first, but in the final movie it looked great. This still has like 8 months until release, so I don't think we know for sure yet. Especially because we haven't gotten long glimpses of the animation. I still don't really like Ezra though.

Since they the teasers come and go in a flash I can't really say if it's good, but so far it seems OK. Like Potato said it could still be in need of being finalised. For example I saw a trailer for a new Sonic game that's coming later this Autumn and the animation hadn't been finalised.

The animation is deplorable... And no, they can't improve it much at all in 8 months... It takes ages to even upgrade animation.

It still has better animation then most Tv-Series put on screen.
And if you paid good attention you can see that both Teasers all focus on one scene that is probably one of the first scene's in the first episode. So it is probably the first thing that was finished so the animation will probaly be more cleaner once it airs.

TFU > TCW > SWTOR > KOTOR > CW 2003 > Droids > Rebels. What about Star Wars Detours? I'd put it between KOTOR and Droids. Still much better than Rebels. |

I don't think the animation is that bad to be honest and I'm pretty sure it will look better by the time they release it. But I'm pretty sure they are not going for 8 seasons with Rebels anyways.

Even if you think the animation is bad. remember that story makes the series, not animation.
Just like good graphics don't make a good game.

 Even the teaser suggests it will have better graphics. Actually rumoured it may be released late this year I guess we won't know till E3 but I would rather spring 2015. |

Those are good examples but they don't prove anything since these are different people that worked on it. I don't play Battlefront though and i don't plan on doing so in the future, but the game itself should always be more important then graphics and i've only heard talk about graphics so far. Same goes for Star Wars: Rebels. Some think the animation looks bad, but it seems they can't see how advanced this animation is for television. So many small, yet difficult details are missed like the grass moving with the wind individually or the smoke and partical effects. |

Am I the only one who thinks that there almost replacing the Anakin and Ahsoka relationship with Kanan and Ezra in Rebels? The animation for the show looks different in each shot so far in the trailers and clips they have given us about rebels, if you ask me. I still don't think the animation will be that great though.
