You're all just going to hate it because you don't have TCW anymore? That's pathetic. Personally, I prefer OT to the prequels anyway, and if DF could make a prequel-era series not only worth watching but thoroughly enjoyable, just imagine what he can do for OT. I admit TCW ended rather abruptly, and I don't like it any more than you do, but do you have to be immature little brats about every damn thing Disney makes? NOTHING CAN MAKE UP FOR THE CANCELLATION OF TCW NOTHING If they wrap up the story lines (which I doubt) then it could. yes if they wrapped up the story lines i would be fine. |

Guys, I would be overjoyed if Rebels was just TCW under a different name. But we don't know that for sure. For all we know, it could be a kiddie show with bad animation and no wrapping up TCW. But we don't know that either. So here's my policy:
If "Rebels" wraps up "The Clone Wars" story lines and gives a good conclusion for Rex, Fives, Ventress, and Maul, I may forgive Disney. If not, Disney can go Potato is Awesome itself.

I'm glad to see you all are getting along so nicely.  Like I said, I'm looking forward to Star Wars: Rebels. A thought also came to mind. If one of the executive producers is Greg Weisman, perhaps the animation will be similar to the shows he has produced? |

If they bring back the surviving characters of TCW and warp up their stories eventually then maybe I'll forgive Disney. I just fear this series will be closer to ANH than to TCW so there might be a ten year gap which will still leave a lot of questions.
I hope this series will focus on early rebellions just after the Clone Wars. Maybe the main heroes could be Ahsoka, Hondo, Ventress and some new characters or OT characters. And the villains could be Vader, Bane, Maul and Palpatine. Also I hope we'll see Mother Talzin again because we still don't understand her motives. And I hope Nuvo Vindi, Darts D'nar, Barriss and some more TCW characters could return too.
It might make this whole thing less horrible but this still won't replace TCW. Dooku, Grievous, Padme, Windu, Plo Koon... they're all gone. If they had kept TCW on air for 3 more seasons (as planned) and then started this series I would have been very happy. I just hope we'll get enough pre-ANH content because I like the prequel characters way better than the original characters.

I personally think it's a great idea The Dark Times era is mysterious and it's really intriguing to find out what lies ahead.
As Dooku said: "I've been looking forward to this."
Maybe the first two-three episodes will be a prologue. Showing the Ascension of the Empire. And then, in future episodes there will be flashbacks and stuff to fill in the holes left by the cancellation of TCW
Hopefully they will get good writers and producers. That way it won't be Potato Rules. But it probably won't though, I think it will be good

The sensor system can be funny at times haha. Anyways I am with Spider on this one. I hope they use this show to wrap up some of the main Clone War characters deaths in the beginning. Using this as a two way show. One to start there own show under there own name but not only that use it as well to show what happens to some of the characters who survived from The Clone Wars as well.

I'm disappointed it won't air CN though. Although it was made by Disney so I guess it shouldn't have been a no brainer on that matter. Theres something about CN that I like.

Like I said on SW.com I want to see Starkiller in this series or at least near the end since he was only 4 or 5 right after episode 3. And of course Sam would voice him just like the games.
