Ashoka I would have liked to be left alone though, at least for now. I think the shocking aspect of her coming back wasn't as big because she came back to early in the show. You know eventually Vader will kill her, that or she'll be another cliffhanger as in TCW but that would be stupid for it to happen again. Definitely looks better than season one though. Well they couldn't make her look worse.

Since I had $92 on my iTunes account (all from gifts and there's nothing really to buy) I decided to download season 1 of Rebels in HD off iTunes for $30, I only watched half assed uploads off sites anyways like anime flavour so I'm looking forward to doing a full rewatch before season 2. We also have Apple TV so I can watch them from my television as well Anyways excited for season 2 too bad only the premiere is coming soon the rest is in the fall.

I think Vader will have a large role in the Movie and then dissappear again for the first half of the Season [sending out the other Inquisitors] and then return big time in the second half of the Season. Because let's face it, trailers always only show the first half and this time most of the clips in the trailer are from the first episode this seson. Anyway i'm also excited to see (or just hear?) the Emperor! Oh and there is the return of Ahsoka

Well I definitely am more excited about this season versus the last, I hope they initiate more cliffhangers and other suspenseful twists more than lay though. It's good to see Vader which adds a lot and more than anything the Emporer. My brother said Rex is coming back? Is that true?

I'm looking forward to this tonight. Since so many people have already seen it through Celebration a couple months ago I think most of it's been spoiled online, but I've been doing a good job avoiding the spoilers.

Awesome episode (or rather episodes I guess since this counted as the first two). I think these were the best yet. It was fun and exciting but was still pretty intense. Vader was done perfectly and the rest of the season was set up really well. I can't wait for more.

I also loved the Imperial officer's reaction to finding out they had Vader's ship in a tractor beam. His awkward order for them to release him was pretty fitting. And the jedi mind trick scene was also nice because it showed that Ezra still wasn't that strong with the force.

Wow that was actually fucking fantastic. Perfect episode (or Episodes) to start the season, no cheesy dialogue or minor conflict but something that was really intense with a villain who actually feels threatening. I loved Vader, everything about him was amazing, he crushed them in the force and lightsaber and demolished the fleet, I loved how they emphasized how dark he was though that he had the aura around him.
Ahsoka knew right away though, you could tell. Only Anakin is that good of a pilot too be able to take out entire squads and minor frigates by himself in a fighter. But Vader is clearly a lot more powerful then her. I also liked the touch of how he didn't say his apprentice, he is fully consumed at this point and only his family could change that. Burning the town was a nice touch.
Lando's cameo was great, he's such an awesome character on the show and tbh he has one of the best character models. I was surprised Tarkin wasn't in the episode at all but I think we're at the point where they will start having more off screen stuff and not have to show every moment.
Everything was pretty perfect about this episode I have no complaints at all, 10/10. Sidious voice at the end with Vader sort of set the season up very well and this has so much potential now to do a lot of awesome things.

This episode built itself perfectly to the finals moments. I know I don’t like comparing TCW to Rebels but let’s be honest, you can’t realistically say TCW blew this out of the water and that what they built here is not close to TCW at all. TCW often failed to build things up properly IMO.
TCW is different, it’s a collection of stories with no real main plot, I guess if you really wanted to look for one it would be the Chancellor gaining more power and control.
Rebels is a continuous story which I honestly like more since I enjoy that story. There was many great stories in TCW but many I found to be boring and or bad as well. Rebels is like and RPG video game pretty much (KOTOR?) you got the main storyline but then you got these little side quests and adventures like Lando, That one Cadet with his sister missing, probably Hondo soon.

So we're going to see new planets for sure soon. What ones do you think?
I got to say Tatooine has a high chance, it's iconic and a place to lay low. Hondo could even be there now days.
Oh note, the planet Rex is on doesn't count we know that will happen.

Everything that i liked about this episode has already been said up here so i won't go into much detail This episode was fantastic! The writing was great, the animation solid as usual and the voice acting top notch. What i really liked however was that the episode continued to focus on the Rebels and not bring Ahsoka along for everything. It felt organic and natural that she only joined when Vader appeared to attack the fleet. I also liked how she kept it secret from Kanan and Ezra that it was actually her former master they encountered on Lothal. Overall fantastic episode and a fantastic premiere. Season 2 already has a lot of promise. Vader will probably be out now for the most of the first half but i have a feeling that he will make a big comeback in the second half.

Also Kallus was really good here, I hope he continues to be Vaders right hand man pretty much Last Season i was getting the feeling as if he would at one point leave the Empire because of their cruel ways. However this episode showed him full of confidence again. Probably because Vader was there and knew the Rebels wouldn't be a match for him.
