I just watched the new episode it seems every episode kinda gets better than the last. Tarkin was actually amazingly well portrayed much better than his Clone Wars appearances but that's really expected he's an imperial meant character.
And wow the Inquisitor actually decapitated both of them that was rather surprising for a show meant for "6 year olds" lol. You know this was a very good episode because the Empire kinda felt strong and actually succeeded imo but I guess it depends on the fallout of the transmission.
Also did anyone else find the animation better here? The little details like on the road and the shadows. Plus light looked good.
Well the next episode is the last one of the season kinda thought it would be a 2 parter anyways either Hondo appears then or season 2. Maybe they get his help idk to rescue Kanan
Anyways best of the season maybe

Another good episode. I liked the remixed Imperial March in this and the other music was good as well. Glad to see more variety in that. Also looks like they got rid of the Rebels theme playing during the little intro logo thing... But I noticed they stopped that as the episodes got more serious...
I knew the officers were going to get killed by the inquisitor but I didn't know how they'd do it. I think the scene was executed decently. And it shows Tarikin isn't a fuck boy lol speaking of which I feel like we'll see him in the next episode. It was kind of a cliffhanger with Kanan getting captured so I guess he'll talk to Tarkin in the next episode
Oh and they had some new vehicles in this episode as well. Lego made an Ezra's speeder set which we actually saw in this one. They also used some TCW vehicles though like Sabine's speeder which was seen on Mortis and the Coruscant gunships. I think it's good though because both had pretty cool designs and it makes sense to use them since its in the same universe. Oh and new Imperial shuttle as well. Tarkin's armor was cool too.

Yeah there's something about the animation the round Imperial building looked pretty good here. As did the streets of the speeder chase

Yeah the music is actually really good they have a lot of variations of music from the OT and TCW. I noticed the little piece from the deception arc played (I believe) when they where in the hanger. Tarkin is really well done. But I feel the transmission has set up room for more characters to be brought in maybe season 2. Also yeah I noticed those where like the Coruscant gun ships they seemed a bit modified though. This episode had a lot and it looked good

As did the streets of the speeder chase Not sure why it suddenly looked so much better maybe we just saw a HD version since it's normally sd I remember watching on TV and its HD which looks good but there was many things that still looked better I expect some decent animation improvements in season 2

I wouldn't be too surprised and it'd be nice to have some new ones but I think there already several so adding more at least rebels might make it hard to give everyone enough screen time... In TCW the gunships had more red and blue and Aurebesh text and whatnot (they looked really good there..) here they were a bit more plain and Imperial looking. It feels like their budget for stuff has increased... The episodes are improving a lot faster than I expected. Honestly I wasn't expecting any improvement this season or even ever actually...

The Rebels attack an Imperial courier hoping to gain information."
This is the description for the next episode. Wookipedia says there will be 16 episodes but Wikipedia and AnimeFlavour have always only had slots for 14 pre registered and those include the 2 for Sparks so idk.
Two bad it isn't till 2 weeks from now

Considering they're getting all these voice actors, better animation here and there and more models and stuff the budget has gone up for sure. After all it's the most popular disney XD show ever so I guess they're willing to dump money to make it better which is nice I wasn't expecting improvement to season 2 but I was basically expecting what there is at the present time now by season 2 if it improves again it will be above my orginal expectations

Maybe the Imperia Courier is Hondo... I know he isn't an Imperialut maybe three just saying that so people don't know.. Hondo could know something about Kanan and whatnot
But I swear if Hondo is on Lothal..... So yeah actually it might not be Hondo and I wouldn't be too disappointed if it wasnt...

I feel like they may mess around and have Bail for example create the official rebellion basically the senators would be the backbone and the rebels would be a part of it would be cool if done right

If TCW hadn't aired I don't think my opinion of Rebels's animation would have changed that much. It's still terrible and annoying look at.

So I was talking on the JCF with the man who voiced Tarkin and he said we are going to enjoy the end of the season anyway I love actors who interact with the fans and he is pretty cool.

I think it's fine to criticize Rebels and it obviously isn't perfect and has flaws and it's also obviously subjective, but in the end it's just a TV show. Plus I think most of the hate for it is just because of TCW... but I do understand the actual criticisms. Episode guides could work, Newan. But I don't think there should be any posting rules... everyone still has the right to an opinion.

I still haven't seen Vision of Hope... I've been watching all the episodes online, but ever since I got a virus I've sort of been hesitant to go back to Animeflavor...

Well it's pretty annoying when people who don't watch the show just say it sucks and it's pretty obvious to tell as well. And people just sayng it sucks without reason is pretty annoying as well. I don't mind people having complaints as long as it's actually legit.

Thank you very much I've been dying to see it That episode was mind blowing wasn't it. Defenitely the best one so far. I think from now one they are going to work towards the finale. I like how Tarkin brings the more darker tone to the show. It already had dark tones but it was obvious Kallus and The Inquisitor weren't sure how to deal with the Rebels. Then Tarkin happened. Can't wait for next week! I hope the next 4 episodes will just lead to one big finale. A battle in an un-operational Death Star perhaps?

The only time I've seen a Death Star battle was in BF2 , to see a Death Star battle on the inside outside of space would be neat.

This show doesnt have a Star Wars feel to me. I know it is because of the lightsabers and blasters but it doesnt have that touch IMO that every other Star Wars content has.

No! Not Ahsoka showing her in this crap would eliminate all chances of ever hearing her remaining TCW stories in an interesting way...

I think it feels a lot like Star Wars or at least like the OT. Certainly has the SW feel more than like the TOR games.. Must be a long premiere to be able to fit all of that... Maybe we'll see Ahsoka vs Vader tho.. But honestly stuff like that should be saved for finales IMO
