I just saw Path of the Jedi. It was pretty good. It was nice to have an episode that was different from the usual ones for once. Also, I know it was just a vision, but the Inquisitor killing everyone on the Ghost was actually pretty dark. This episode made him the most intimidating he's ever been... it's a shame he was just a vision though. Hopefully the real Inquisitor gets to be this frightening. Yoda was utilized well and didn't sound off to me at all. My only real problem with the episode was that it took place on Lothal again. Stop staying on Lothal... this is Star Wars. You have an entire galaxy to explore, yet the rebels are spending most of their time parked in a wheat field. The location of the temple seemed to have a colder environment as well, so I don't see why they wouldn't just make up a new world or something...

Why are they bringing all these OT actors on rebels? Are they really desperate for viewers? It doesn't mean they're desperate at all. Lando can and should be on the show since this time of his life is unexplored and Billy D. Williams should voice him because no one else would do him justice. James Earl Jones as Darth Vader was nice to see again because the last time he voiced Vader was in ROTS. If he's available to do it again, why not get him to do it? Frank Oz as Yoda is a bit odd since they could have gotten Tom Kane, but I think they just did it to match Yoda's style of speech from The Empire Strikes Back. Just because they're using these characters and their voice actors doesn't mean they're desperate, it just means they're paying tribute to the Star Wars universe. Plus, some of these actors won't be around forever. They're getting older and soon they won't be able to play these characters again.

Yeah that's really the only problem this show has is lack of locations. But Path of the Jedi was pretty amazing.

Yeah Idiots Array was pretty good and Lando actually slotted in pretty nicely. Also Billy's voice acting was really well done and didn't sound any different then the OT unlike how Oz did sound a bit older. I enjoyed Lando in the show.
Also I thought the music for last episode was good but this episode had some really good music moments as well that you just didn't hear in TCW.
Id give this episode a 9.5/10 it was cool and fun. Looking forward to Landos return. So far Id say the things being continued later are Ezra's parents/ Zeebo, Lando and The Academy with that kid might come back.

There's only 3 episodes left in season 1 I have a feeling they may spread them out instead of releasing 3 in a row though I could see like a 2 part finish. 14 episodes (counting 2 for Spark) just doesn't seem like enough I don't want this season to be over yet it's been really enjoyable so far

They are desperate because they realized they fucked up when canceling the clone wars.

They are desperate because they realized they Potato is Awesomeed up when canceling the clone wars. They're not desperate. This show is the most successful for disney XD and it probably has a disney XD budget still. So far I found this to be just as enjoyable as TCW. Plus a show in this era gives them options to do and use things that will never be seen again probably i don't think Lando will be appearing in anything again with Billy portraying him.

I don't see that much major OT references... But the OT is better anyways so I'm cool with it and the music has been better then TCW.

Why are they bringing all these OT actors on rebels? Are they really desperate for viewers? No, because they spend half their animation and story writing budget on getting these voice actors.

No one would ever watch this if it had nothing to do with Star Wars.

TCW's story could have attracted views anyway... this couldn't. I don't know anything about these pirates movies. But didn't they just take the storylines for their marvel movies from existing stories? They didn't really do anything... besides they bought Marvel, it wasn't their own idea.

This would more easily as if airs on a kids channel they don't care. And no not all the stories are existing they're based off existing characters and universes aka the clone wars is as well.

Yeah, TCW didn't have to call in movie actors in every few weeks hoping it would OT geeks wet their pants. But the thing is, those actors would have made more sense appearing on TCW with a whole galaxy and so many important characters, not the one planet budget and five lame excuses for characters.

But IDK it was cool to have James Earl Jones but IDK he didn't sound that great as DV in it I think the guy from TFU would be better. Same with Frank Oz and Yoda.

Yeah it's annoying they stay on Lothal... TCW doesn't stay on Coruscant like 10 episodes straight.

Not really But like if you think about it Lothal is the crew's home. They don't like have other bases or anything across the galaxy so I don't think they'd randomly go to other planets. Well at least not for an extended period of time.

But tbh when TCW was cancelled I was kinda made but stayed open minded. EA taking over the video games was more than worth it to me but Rebels being as good as it has been so far makes thoughts of TCW being canceled a thing of the past. New quality SW games and Rebels is more than worth trade in for a show that had 2 seasons left don't get me wrong I would have liked to see it but I'm not really disappointed much anymore.
The new movies are a bonus that I don't care that much for so far but episode 7 does look decent much better than some of the SW movies that it's impossible to get worse than that.
But I am looking forward to the new spinoffs. And since it looks like SWTOR will be canon again eventually I mean nothing for me to be mad at.

EA Sucks EA has access to Dice, Bioware, Visceral, etc So nah EA is pretty good. Lucasarts never made a good game since TFU (08) but that's just one game at a random spot the last good game before that was (05).
