The Mods here have been noting some activity in the forums lately that we think we need rules for. So here's a topic to discuss some of the rules here:
1. No quoting massive posts or pictures. It makes the page load slower and increases the amount of time it takes to scroll down the page. 2. Respect other members. We're all actual people, not just accounts on a computer. Don't be rude or insult other members. Also, don't alter swear words just to get past the swear filter. 3. Don't post excessively just to get stars. Triple plus posts can get annoying, and they're just stars anyway. 4. Don't go overboard with posting memes and gifs, especially in active game threads. You can post them, it's fine, but don't post or quote too many. 5. No Supernatural in the Cantina.

I would also like to suggest rule 5: Don't change swear words so they are uncensored.

Good point, Newan. I combined it with the no insulting other members rule.

Are you going to make the sub Board dedicated to the forum or keep it like this?

But if you make rules then the fun and laughter will be minimum though more than usual. I agree with all the respect and stuff though. Personally can you just get rid of the stars so people can post with not having the faulty of just posting for the stars. I want this place to be fun but I don't want there to be posting limits and stuff either.

Their is no posting limit but posting 3+ in a row is just annoying and can also be considered spam.

I am not going to stop and say to myself, o right I cant post more than 3 times rules are rules. I know there has to be some but I don't want that factor to make this place become so, not strict but. I mean I think we are all friends by now and don't really need rules to base our trust on if you ask me.

Would you consider it a spam if someone did that once in awhile, but not a whole lot. Because if they do it sometimes, it may not be too bad, but if you always do it, then it gets annoying. Also, what about if you post 4 posts in a row, but they are like all an hour apart? If its a accident or once in awhile then it's fine or if its important. But if you need to qoute alot of posts you should try and put them in the same post. The hour apart thing well you should probably just edit your first or second post and just Say Edit: with your updated post.

I'll try my best to follow them . But most I think people follow already without even realizing it.

Like Newan said, we have an edit button for a reason. You can just edit your posts.

Yes most people do but their is some circumstance where threads get off topic for no reason and people over post.

I don't really have a problem with the not posting 3 times in a row rule. It can save a lot of space. However, if you feel that rule shouldn't be added, keep in mind you can just quote 3 people. Much faster and takes up a lot less space.

Wait when you mean the post 3 times rule what to do actually mean? Do you mean like post, post, post when theres no one talking back to you. Or like you can only post 3 times in a thread maximum even when someone is talking back and forth to you in a thread?

If the posts are not against the rules then you shouldn't delete them without someone's approval.Unless they are your own.

Yeah, I don't really like seeing things here deleted. I'd prefer for the Mods just to tell people to get back on topic or to lock the topic instead. That way, people will know what not to do.

What is the point of no 3times post rule. I see a lot of ppl doing it. It's annoying, it's repetitive, and some people just do it to increase their post count. And we have an edit button for a reason.
