Guys, I came up with a really simple way to solve the problem of confirmed loyalists with roles. The solution is that the Protector cannot protect them self at all. Throughout the entire game, they have to protect other people. That way, if they reveal them self, then they would have screwed them self over because they can't protect them self. Anyway, in my next game, I'm not allowing the Protector to protect them self. if the murderer confirms there role they could would have no risk of the protector confirming there role since the murderer would be dead.

Couldn't the protector at least protect himself on night 1?

Spider, maybe the suicider doesn't know that they're a suicider? Like maybe they have the ability but they don't know it until they're actually killed. And Newan, I think it'd be more fair to the scum if the protector can't protect them self at all. I think it would make for a better balance.

But after the murderer dies, the protector could reveal their role.

I don't think anyone will know if the murderer's truly dead until the end of the game.

Unless of course they attack the suicider.

Who knows, there could always be extra murderers or roles that could put the protector in danger. Either way, I think this at least gives the scum a better chance.

I think, for my game (whenever it's hosted), I'll just have a rule allowing no one but the Inspector to reveal their role.

I wish I was the inspector in one of these games. I'm pretty good at finding scum so I think I'd be pretty good.

I don't really know where to post this, but I came up with another idea to make things more balanced. You can't target the same person with a night action for more than two nights in a row. So that means the protector can't protect the same person three times in a row or more. I think that'd make things better.

Not if the protector trades off between protecting them self and the inspector. The scum won't know what they'll do each night. Also, maybe that could mean that the inspector reveals their results privately instead of publicly so they're safer.
