I haven't watched ROTK in awhile, so I'm trying to remember how much he's in it.
Boromir= a lot in FOTR
Faramir= decent amount in TTT and ROTK

Do you like Boromir or Faramir better? I can't decide. I like Boromir better. He really took a stand for Merry and Pippin and had courage and faith to stand side by side for a friend till death. Faramir lost all hope and just tried to take back osgiliath knowing he would get slaughtered. They btoh tried to pocess the ring from Frodo so that factor evens out. I liked Boromir's attitude towards the war better. Although Faramir offered more. |

Yeah, well, you have to take into consideration that Denathore pretty much ignored/disliked Faramir ever since Boromir didn't come back in TFOTR. And I thought when Faramir tried to take back Osgiliath was one of the best parts in ROTK. |

He never tried to take the Ring from Frodo, so I found the change of his character in the movie disgusting. |
