I hadn't even heard about this until now. Was the movie just announced? I think so Bad news is Michael Bay confirmed he has no part in this, so we probably won't see her running away from stuff going nuclear in gratuitous slow motion.

I watched Life of Pi again yesterday and forgot how much I liked it. I'm glad the movie didn't ruin the novel.

I think I'm the last person in the world to see Infinity War... But yeah I actually really liked it kinda made me appreciate marvel movies again. Some things kind of take me out of it though like Iron Man's impossible suit... How can it do literally everything? I remember the simpler times of the first Iron Man movie when they actually managed to make realistic films that didn't rely so heavily on CGI and didn't constantly alternate between serious moments and some stupid one liner...
But like this lore is so rich man... Can't wait to see the Kree and Skrull stuff. It's interesting how the stories are not bound to Earth and it's heroes. I think I like the outer space stuff more tbh

Al Pacino strangely reminded me of Tommy Wiseau in this movie.

I watched There Will Be Blood for a class. It was a pretty solid film, and Daniel Day-Lewis was just as good as I've seen him in some of his other works.

I watched Birdman the other week, and it was a very good movie, especially the acting and cinematography.

Watched Mission Impossible: Fallout with my dad, I enjoy the series tbh. It’s like over the top action and every scene should probably kill Tom Cruise but still it’s fun and cool he does his own stunts

I think I said a long time ago on this thread that I’d watch Interstellar. Well I finally sat down and watched it.
I really wanted to like this movie, and for the most part I did, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit underwhelmed. The first two thirds I thought were really good but I didn’t like how it kinda went off the deep end at the end and then went to an unbelievably perfect ending.
I don’t know, it just felt too easily wrapped up for a film like this. I didn’t feel the emotion I wanted to by the end.
A really interesting movie with a lot of great scenes and ideas. The scene of him watching the years of videos has to be one of my favorite scenes of all time. But I feel like the film could have used another redraft or two. It’s frusturating how close to perfect it came without reaching it.

I remember the last 3 films in the series quite well and they always have cool twists and you sometimes never know who the real villain is

As much as I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, I will admit they're pretty entertaining. They're kinda one-watch ponies for me, but they're not half bad. A bit formulaic really, but they're worth a look. I think I said a long time ago on this thread that I’d watch Interstellar. Well I finally sat down and watched it. It’s frusturating how close to perfect it came without reaching it. I didn't feel too bummed by the final part, but I do get what you say on it being too neat. It might not have hurt to have a few screenplay tweaks here and there, but I'd still put it on my favourites list.
