In case we move the games here, should we transcribe the comments from previous games here so that new players can see them? Also, if we move, it'll be harder to get new players without advertizing on starwars.com. We could also just regularly post the link to this place on Ambush.

Well if new players want to see past games they could just go to ambush new players usually end up looking at the ambush guide before asking to play.

I think the transcription is a really good idea, but how would that be done, exactly? We would need to copy and paste each comment, but like Namialus indicated, that would take forever. If we can put images in our posts, we can take screen captures of each page of comments. |

I think Disney could take down the episode guides, or update/change them or SW.com soon. Which would probably result in the removal of all comments. And I just got an idea to make sure we'll not lose the memories of the first games: screen recording. I could record the my screen and scroll down the page, making a video of the comments of each game. Since I recently bought a 2 TB disk I should have more than enough space to store all the games. The problem is, recording the comments and replies of 12 games on my own would take too much time, so if anyone wants to help... I'll post a guide on screen recording for those who don't know how it works soon.
EDIT: I'm also working on saving all concept art and the featurettes of the episode guides on my laptop. Since those shouldn't get lost either. So far I only did ambush though.

That would be a lot to record. Maybe just doing a little bit from each game would be better. But I still like the idea. It just seems really hard to do and like Jodo said I'd help but I don't have a recorder.  |

Actually alot of comments have been deleted already it seems some of the older comments delete themselves randomly over time but some of the comments stay like I saw one comment from Potato and he was just talking to himself and only his comments where there but you could tell there was other comments at the time....

But actually the site has deleted some comments before so I guess that also probably happened Well I saw one comment on Revenge and it was Potato and Siblings talking I believe and there was one comment from Siblings that showed up and about 6 from Potato so if they where having a discussion then some must have been deleted. |

I just tried this and I recorded the first game in about 8-10 minutes. I'll have to load it to my editing program now to see the results but I think 10 minutes for a full game is pretty fast, of course later games will have more comments but still...

That is pretty good for one game but like you said, when you get to the last few games on Ambush there'll be a lot more comments because of all the new people that joined. |

Until now I only noticed the comments of Gamma and Kenobi-wan were missing. Superseaturtle's comments were still there. |
