I'll confess that I never fully watched the Utapau story reels either. I only watched the first two. It just didn't feel the same, and then I got distracted with other things and never got around to watching the other two. I should really get around to watching those last two soon. But I'll definitely watch the whole Bad Batch arc.

Tbh the Utapau story reels where some of my favourite episodes in the show probably some of the most enjoyable and funny for sure. They where laid back but still had a serious storyline something they probably should have picked up on for episodes like Mercy Mission. The interactions with Obi-Wan and Anakin alone where awesome and if they had more like that about there adventures before episode 3 then better that Ahsoka left.
Thing with Bad Batch is Echo will be in it and I hope they have a decent way that he's here rather then something stupid. Fives should have been the last of Domino squad he was developed way more. Echo is just a random really. I'll probably still consider Fives the last though since Echo is probably a rebuilt separatist project im thinking.

So with the Bonus Content (13 episodes). Son of Dathomir (4 episodes), Dark Disciple (4-8 episodes lets just say 4), Bad Batch (4 episodes) and probably the Bounty Hunter arc (4 episodes). That's 29 episodes worth of content since the end of season 5 or 1.5 seasons pretty much. So it's cool that they're finishing the remaining content slowly. That only leaves about 1.5 seasons left but really most of that would probably be stuff that wouldn't matter that much like Kashyyyk or Batlte of coruscant. People could fill in the gaps themselves on those.
Dark Disciple was supposed to be like and 8 episode arc i eb livee there was a link of a Q&A posted on the NR awhile back. Apparently it may have been all at once as well which probably would have sucked since I got bored on most of the four episode stuff lasting a month.

My dad and I only watched TCW from season 3 (night sister arc) and beyond, I showed him what I think is the best stuff first but since we just caught up with Rebels I'm going to show him the first half of the show now, I was watching some of the earlier stuff myself where I hate the voices in season 1 though they sound weird.

Anakin and a few other sounds sort of weird though. My dad really enjoyed Rebels just as much or more then TCW but he's always been a much stronger supporter of the OT as well so has my uncle but he likes The old Republic a lot. |

The new "canon" novels have actually been pretty good I haven't finished Tarkin yet but I been enjoying it a lot, Plagueis was a bit better but overall they're similar. I heard good things about New Dawn and Lords of the Sith as well. I also want to read Aftermath in September, it's a novel that takes place right after ROTJ chances are it ties in with TFA. |

Didn't someone (I think it was pinda) say they wanted to organize like a chronological rewatch or something? I was thinking about watching it again chronologically because I haven't done that before. So like do you guys want to do it together or something.. Idk I think that could be fun maybe make like some threads for discussing like a group of episodes.. Idk but anyone up for that? Either way I'm going to probably start my rewatch soon
