So, Season 5. We all know it was a complete mess, but I'm still confused about all that Potato Rules with the episodes. It only had 20. They couldn't put the clovis arc in because CN has a strict policy of not going over 22 episodes. (with clovis arc would be 23). But anyways, the Young Jedi are was never originally part of Season 5, and the clovis arc was. If you had the Clovis arc and not the YJ, then that would equal 19 episodes and not the full 22. So, it leaves me wondering if there were only supposed to be 19 episodes or there was another arc that they didn't show in the trailers for some reason... Maybe it was supposed to end on a cliffhanger? Like, we could have had the Clovis arc in S5 (as it was supposed to be) and all other episodes that were in S5. But "Wrong Jedi" could have been the S6 premiere. But since Disney wanted to cancel the show they decided to end the series on TV with Wrong Jedi. That doesn't really seem right. I had this same argument on SW.com last year but I don't think anyone knew what I was talking about. Maybe Dave was trying to kick it to 23 episodes a season (like SPN) but CN wouldn't take it.

Still though, the Young Jedi arc only made it into Season 5 because of popularity. It was never intended to be in Season 5. Intersting theory though. That would be the biggest cliffhanger in TCW!

I'm pretty sure Disney had something to do with it. The schedule got messed up after disney took over.

I wonder how many episodes Seasons 5 and 6 would have without Disney interference.

Also another interesting thing to consider is that in one of the Season 5 Trailers, The Young Jedi arc was never shown but the Space Battle in Bound for Rescue was. Maybe it was supposed to be in another arc, but edited into the YJ?

I have a feeling Maul would meet his end in Season 7 and then Season would probably be all about setting up ROTS. I know Rex was gonna be in Season 8 and Ahsoka probably would too.

I think the official trailer showed Grievous fighting Obi-wan (Youngling arc) and commander Thorn + Dooku preparing to attack Scipio (Clovis arc).

Ventress would probably die in Season 7 too. After all, the book involving her was supposed to be in Season 7. And Maul is in that book too based on the cover. Maybe their fates are connected somehow?

Then what about the Clovis arc? Well, we will never know how they would have fit in all these arcs... it could have been a cliffhanger... but I doubt it was meant to be 20 episodes.

Also Bane probably would have gotten killed by Boba in the Bounty Hunter arc in Season 6. But we don't know because Disney Sucks.

Well, those are just rumors, although it's possible Bane was going to die, because someone leaked plot details from that arc (although we can't be sure if they were correct). But they also said they had great plans for Bane, and killing him off doesn't sound like a "great plan".

I feel most major characters (Save Ahsoka and Rex) would die in Seasons 6 and 7 and Season 8 would go back to the War. So like Bane would die in Season 6 and Ventress and Maul would die in 7 in addition to other major characters who have already died. (Fives and Talzin)

Also, Jedi Council loose ends Eeth Koth and Oppo Rancisis can be completed at any time, though I'd prefer them die in Season 8 during the Outer Rim Seiges so that they can get killed by Grievous or something.

Yeah, it would have made sense for them to die in the Outer Rim sieges since one of them hadn't been replaced at the time of ROTS and the sieges were meant to be extremely violent and the separatists won many battles.

You know I think seasons 1-3 had more like... Cozy feelings to it... Lol idk but I think that's what I liked about them it was basic war stuff with some politics and a couple special episodes but like 4-6 the worlds were too big everything was different... We had episodes like droid arc or younglings, or Yoda arc which weren't really related to the war. I think they should've gone back to old fashioned episodes. What happened to clones vs droids. Like a really hard core battle episode or two would've been nice and they could've done outer rim seiges S4, 5 and the bonus content were a lot better though. But I guess they could have had a few droid vs clone battles instead of things like "Sunny day in the void" Nah Season 2 and Season 3 second half are better than season 5. I kinda liked real war episodes better like Geonosis, Ryloth, Umbara..

But with really promising stories of Bane and MAul following what we already saw with Fives and Yoda, I think Season 6 would top 2 and 4.

The even seasons 2,4,6,8 would probably all been better. They just seem to slack off on Season 3 and 5. I won't count 1.

IMO Season 5 should have consisted of the Talzin "arc/story" With Jar Jar along with the Clovis arc. I hated the Droid Arc in Season 5, and the youngling arc was completely pointless besides the part where the Seps attack Hondo's base. The Middle arcs of Season 5 just went on too long and I got bored pretty fast. I rather watch two episodes of Jar Jar than 4 episodes of annoying droids and annoying kids playing with lightsabers.
