I saw TCW movie in theaters but I didn't start watching the show until Season 2 in 2009. Why? I just never got around to it I guess. The movie was meh, and the show didn't totally interest me at the time (although I was still a Star Wars fan, I've been one my entire life). It's funny, because one of the main reasons why i started watching it was because there was this TCW Lego set that looked cool, but I didn't know who one of the characters in it was. So I sort of got interested in the show from there. I watched all of Season 1 on Youtube over the summer before Season 2 started though (back when it was easy to find TCW episodes on Youtube).

Really Plagueis being able to create life is widely misunderstood... He wasn't able to create life out of nothing or anything like that he was only able to manipulate existing life. Like kill the same guy and revive him and he only ever did that on the same person practicing on that person over and over. He was able to heal himself well enough but many Jedi can heal basic wounds and stuff. And I believe it took both Sidious and Plagueis to manipulate the creation of Anakin. Plagueis creating Anakin and pretty much everything in the "Star Wars: Darth Plagueis" is now part of Legends and not associated with the main Star Wars universe (in other words, effectively non-canon). The only thing we know about Plagueis now from the main Star Wars canon was that he was some random Sith of a random species who messed with midichlorians. In fact, Wookiepedia outlines what about Plagueis is still canon, as you can see from the link I am going to post, it's barely anything: starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Plagueis/Canon . If you click on the Legends banner you can see all the stuff that was discarded.

Shimi says there was no father which implies Anakin us unnatural creation like from Plagueis I still consider many things canon. Stuff after ROTJ no since there's just so much junk and a lot of if contradicts itself. Though I do consider the Thrawn books canon since it's still long before these new sequel movies and they're good stories. I also consider anything before 1000 BBY canon still since it's so long before anything else that pretty much anything can happen so most of the stories seem logical and Disney is never going to touch on any that I bet at least not for the next 10 years...

I like Thrawn books but it will be almost impossible for Disney not to contradict it so they got rid of all the EU to counter that problem.

It's the only possible way of why Anakin was created. It's still canon to me, and will be. But I think everyone should consider it to be canon until Disney's new films override it. But they won't because they aren't touching anything from before TPM. So anything TOR related should be considered canon.

Disney didn't say "All EU is non canon except pre-TPM stories" they said (in essence) "all EU stories are irrelevant and are non-canon, absolutely no exceptions". And they don't care about The Old Republic Era and that's why they were so eager to discard it and never use it again for many years. The separation and effective removal of the EU was o pave way for a new line of continuity authored by Disney. It's a stupid decision on their part but since they are in charge of Star Wars now, what they say goes (unfortunately).
I (and probably loads others) will still consider all pre-ROTJ EU to be fully canon though.

I don't see no reason to not consider it canon since nothing is interfering with it so... And like I said Disney is never going to touch that for a long time. They're focused with rebels, spin offs, episode 7,8,9, etc,

I don't see no reason to not consider it canon since nothing is interfering with it so... And like I said Disney is never going to touch that for a long time. They're focused with rebels, spin offs, episode 7,8,9, etc, But Disney doesn't care about the TOR era and by removing it they can silence people who would say "Hey Disney, can you spare the time to make a film/game in TOR era?" . The Old Republic Era stories are usually very high standard and therefore if they were to make a film or game in that era they would need to put in a lot of effort (and money) to please the fans because if they screwed up a large portion of their fanbase may evaporate. Removing the EU encourages the fans to focus and look forward to the Sequels and Rebels because it's the only new Star Wars coming out now. There is no real reason to not consider pre-ROTJ EU canon from the fans point of view. But in the point of view of Disney, there are reasons (profit/$$$$). Hopefully the decision will be reversed but somehow I doubt it.

And I feel the exact same way but that isn't going to suddenly make EU canon again. If no one expects what Disney says then hows that going to help them? If everyone or 90% of the SW fanbase were to reject what Disney said then Disney would have to reverse their decision, but they would want to keep the EU non canon as long as possible to keep people more interested in their content rather than the EU. There are people in the SW fanbase that were overjoyed that the EU was removed (God knows why... ) though so the EU becoming canon again is unlikely (even though I would really want it to happen).

'Was watching Voices from the Yoda arc and during the council scenes and I was like Why didn't Eeth Koth get killed in the Ahsoka Arc. I mean DF and the writers from that episode changed the ending from Ahsoka returning to the Order to leaving it because they thought TCW was going to be cancelled. So why not kill Eeth Koth in the hangar bombing I mean the Jedi Council timeline is really fucked up and they could have killed him off so that way it explains why he isn't on the council in ROTS and Agen Kolar could be his replacement or something. (Like Stass Allie was Adi Gallia's replacement.) Because Stass Allie and Agen Kolar still need to join the council and Oppo Rancis needs to be killed too. Luckily Coleman Kcaj made it on the council.
