Well, that was about as predictable as you can get... TVTropes is going to have a field day with this one. It was cool and all having Boba as an ending stinger and seeing the Krayt in the literal flesh and seeing a different side to Tuskens, but dear god, I felt like I'd seen this plot a thousand times. My sister called it a glorified Saturday morning cartoon, which I can't really argue against. It still looks and sounds next level incredible, but we can't we get plots that are distinct and have a bit more scope to them?

This was literally everything I wanted lol. I don't care if it's cliche I've had enough of my expectations getting subverted. For me predictable stuff can be pretty satisfying. Love that they doubled down on the western stuff with Tatooine and the sheriff. That scene in the cantina where they almost have a "duel" is something I've been waiting for them to do. Wouldn't mind seeing a real standoff in a future episode though as cliche or fan service-y as that would be
I did think Cobb would be an antagonist but I like what they did with him. He seems like a cool character and I wouldn't mind a reappearance. I also thought Mando might get a lead on Boba in this episode but I'm guessing Boba will be going to him. Strange that he seems to have just been wandering around the desert for all these years... But can't wait for that hopefully its the next episode. Tatooine is dope

But now I'm confused about the person from last season who came across Fenecc Shand's body... because I thought it would be Cobb. But Cobb didn't have a cape like that. And Boba looks like he's wearing a robe and no spurs. So who was that...
But anyway I'd love to see JJ's and Rian's reactions to this show. Wonder how they feel knowing the absolute garbage they made comes no where close to this series lol. This episode alone had way better cinematography than any of Rian' shit his fanboys praise him for

I'm guessing Boba tags along with Din. Something tells me he's not just one episode wonder for next time. I like to think such a partnership will give Din a bit of charisma, because honestly he's not that fascinating a guy

I do wonder if every episode will be this long. I thought this one was longer because it would sort of be two episodes in one. But it didn't really feel like there was a part 1 part 2 break like some Rebels episodes had.
I would love to hear they extended their lengths though. I'm here for it man I think they're off to a good start. Praying they don't let me down. No real complaints about this episode. Appreciated minimal baby Yoda. Though it is a little strange how fluent Mando is in Tusken

Also, after seeing the Tuskens in this, it's almost darkly funny how they can be pretty civilised as long as you know sign language and aren't a moisture farmer

But I guess they're just kinda savage aliens now? I think in Legends they were actually human. A'Sharad Hett for example Speaking of darkly funny I can't believe Mando fed that Bantha to the dragon lol. Really thought he would pull off the explosives or something and let it go. Guess it needed convincing bait though

So Cobb's speeder was built from the turbine on Anakin's pod racer lol. I thought it looked familiar. Lots of cool Easter eggs in this one like Boba's jetpack getting hit the way Han hit it in ROTJ which sends it flying. Also R5 was the droid with the bad motivator Luke almost got. Sometimes I think Easter eggs like this are too coincidental to realistically occur... But idk I'll let it slide lol

Yeah, bantha conservationists are going to be ticked off The best joke was the bait and switch with the Tusken getting eaten instead of the bantha. That was actually a pretty good gag

Oh apparently Sam Witwer played an extra in Mos Pelgo. His role was even more disappointing than Matt Lanter's last season... I would've loved to see those guys get more substantial cameos. Are they afraid of their voices being similar to the other characters or something? Idk

This was a really good episode, everything I think I would want from a premiere. I really liked The Marshal, he was a cool fellow that I hope makes another appearance at some point. I’m pretty sure Din had to have known the armor though right? He likely knows who Boba Fett is...
Boba living a hermit life is kinda weird, guess he’s just retired or something? But he probably has something Mando will want at some point. I liked the Krayt Dragon and just Tatooine in general, I think they are forcing Tatooine imo to establish it for the Kenobi show, not just cause it’s an iconic Star Wars place.

I really enjoyed this episode, even if its plot was simple. The Marshal ended up being a cool character, especially with the flashback to the immediate aftermath of the Death Star II exploding. Everything on Tatooine, from the Tusken Raiders to the Krayt Dragon, was a lot of fun.
Interesting how much longer this episode was, hopefully the rest of the season will be similar. I'd also be surprised if that wasn't Boba we saw at the end, but like you all said, it's a little strange thinking he's stayed on the same planet all these years.
