It seems according to IMDB it’s going to be weekly episodes, not confirmed but it’s the logical choice. www.imdb.com/title/tt0458290/episodes?season=7Also that is the new description for Disney + I got Online, there’s one for episode 2 as well but not the rest of the arc so there must be some info somewhere.

This one didn't really do anything for me when I watched the reels. The bad batch themselves I didn't particularly like nor the return of Echo... lol. Mainly just looking forward to seeing Anakin I guess

Mainly just looking forward to seeing Anakin I guess I honestly don’t remember it much but I think Anaxes and the fights are gonna be great animated.

New clip in the OP, honestly I forget most of this arc and it’s cool they are still gonna do previews a couple days before the episodes...

Just watched the episode. It's pretty enjoyable, but taking away the hype of this being the first new episode, it was mostly setting up the rest of the arc. Clone Force 99 is really fun to watch, but there are moments in the dialogue where it feels a bit cheesy or overdone.
The animation looks amazing, and I'm excited to see how the rest of the arc unfolds. I don't really remember anything from the story reels at this point. Also probably going to sit on the episode for a little before I give it a rating.

First ep was pretty good. I don't remember the arc all that well so it's kind of like seeing it for the first time but not exactly. Still it's so nice to see TCW again. I kind of wish CF 99 was just clone commandos. I think some of them even use pieces of Katarn armor. At the least I wish Hunter had the standard CC helmet as I think his armor is entirely katarn.... But anyways
Some things I noticed: The opening logo is different it has "Star Wars" at the top in one line while before Wars was at the bottom. I believe the clones have new elbow and knee pads. They are separated like they are in the movies. I think even in season 6 they were fused to the other armor parts. Edit: that's not right about the armor pads, they were separate in S6 too. Also I swear they changed the sound of the DC-17... Not sure why but it's kinda bothering me lol.
Glad to see created by George Lucas at the end. Kinda pisses me off they've put the show in their D+ Originals category like fuck off you can't make quality shit like this lol. But yeah man this is fun I can't wait to see Anakin come in. And Skako Minor has the Skakoans (Wat Tambor) right? That'll be cool to see.

One thing though why did it sound like Captain Rex is coming up with all their battle tactics? Lol do they not have military strategists? Also even if they destroy the algorithm or whatever wouldn't the Separatists have backups? And if the CIS is using droids to analyze tactics or whatever there's no reason the Republic couldn't do the same. Just some standard tv show plot holes (if you can even call them that) it doesn't really bother me that much

His conversation with Mace and Anakin at the beginning seemed to oversimplify the tactics used by the Republic. I understand that Star Wars doesn't really delve into military strategies, but this felt a little too silly and unrealistic.

The first episode was pretty good, it’s great having TCW back. Honestly I don’t really remember any of this other than the main plot points like the algorithm. I also totally forgot Jesse became an arc trooper at some point so that’s pretty cool.
Gonna be honest the Intro was different, the cuts between scenes were kind of weird I thought. The opening scene was also pretty abrupt... it just throws us into a meeting with little explanation. Cody is present but for some reason we don’t see Kenobi here but Windu in his place, that was odd to me.
The visuals are spectacular although they are a bit different from the old animation, it’s hard to place but there’s something off although I think it’s for the better the landscape and sky visuals were amazing. Clone force 99 is pretty enjoyable to watch, it’s different but kind of similar to delta squad, actually all 4 clones relate highly to the 4 members of delta anyways. Hunter is probably my favorite of the bunch.
Next episode we should see Anakin heavily if memory serves, I have some recollection of the first two episodes of this arc but almost none of the last two. Not gonna lie though this is a weird opening episode since it was originally planned to be a season premiere anyways.
Like Star I think I’m gonna hold off on rating for now, will likely do a second watch this weekend anyways or at least before the next episode airs.

So I was kind of wondering if this would be the case but as this guy points out there is a few new scenes and changes made for the final episode vs the story reel

I gave it a second watch tonight, I think it was better the second time. The newer and improved animation isn’t so off putting/ distracting as it was the first time trying to get adjusted to it. I still think the first scene is kind of weird, especially when the mission is approved with little hesitation or details. Cody’s appearance on Anaxes is not explained, I’m not as concerned with seeing Windu over Kenobi at the briefing this time cause it says Anakin and Mace were leading the defense of Anaxes in the intro.
I’m going to give this episode an 8/10. Great start to the arc but it’s mainly setup with a lot of action and not so much story. Also I think the guy in my video above is right, the original story reel was probably better since the return of Echo reveal was more of a surprise. The extra scene they added for this wasn’t really needed, it gives more character to Rex though.

Hi guys, long time no see, but of course new Clone Wars episodes bring you back.
Thought the first episode was pretty solid. Great animation fun too see a bit more of Windu. I barely remember anything from the story reel, so this is pretty much all new in my eyes. Good episode, though I thought especially Wrecker was a little over the top a few times.
I'm actually kinda happy we just get an episode per week. If they'd released the whole thing in one go, we would all be done by now haha.

Ah, watching this brings back sweet memories of the good ol days... Yeah, this was a good one. Looked utterly amazing and the premise is sort of funny when you realise it's mostly Dee Bradley Baker talking to himself in an accent I really loved how quick and efficient the firefights were and how Hunter is basically just clone Rambo. The others didn't really grow on me and to be honest. I also thought it would be cool if Delta Squad got a name drop as some suggestion for the mission, since it sounds exactly like something they'd be up to. Looking forward to the next one though, since I feel like it can only get better from here.

Finally got around to watching this. This episode is fine but nothing special, which is the impression I remember having from the story reels. I really don't know why they adapted this arc out of all options they had.
I don't like how Rex already predicted Echo would be alive though... makes no sense for him to assume that immediately. Would have been better if he had not said that.

Also, did Trench's voice just change halfway into the episode or was that just me?

Also, did Trench's voice just change halfway into the episode or was that just me? Didn't really notice that but it's possible if they mixed the originally recorded lines with new ones

Also I guess Kix got embarrassed of how tattoos and so he grew his hair out. I’m sure he was gonna be in Resistance Season 3.
