This show could be so much more. But just like seemingly all of Disney Star Wars, it settles for "fine" I don’t know I honestly felt the same way about TCW a lot of the time in the rewatch :/ just so many episodes that are like? Do we need this over the other plots. TCW had much higher highs for me but lower lows.... being stuck on a meh arc for a month was just terrible. I like Rebels and the stories it tells tbh and after a few watches the ghost crew grew on me a lot as a family type dynamic. Most of my favorite episodes/ parts of the show we haven’t watched yet though. But DF does a wonderful job on Rebels imo telling stories and bringing in stuff fans want. He brought in Thrawn which was a crazy concept at the start of Rebels but people loved it. That’s a fair point. TCW made plenty of mistakes and I am more than willing to point that out. But at the point I’m at right now in this show, it all just feels so soulless, generic, and bland. Every element feels like a watered down version of something I’ve seen done much better somewhere else. I really thought I turned a corner with this show around the midpoint of Season 1 yet it’s just gone back to the same lame shit.

At least when TCW failed, it typically failed in interesting ways. It seemed like there was an passion there, an idea that didn’t play out for one reason or another. But it felt like they were trying, not sleepwalking through.
The exception to this would be the bad arcs in Season 5. Those ones remind me the most of Rebels.

It’s one of the better episodes in the season imo

Wings of the Master is a decent episode that adds some cool bits of lore. Other than that, I don't have much else to say. I'm glad they decided to give Hera another episode to develop her. If I recall correctly, she becomes more interesting as the show progresses.
The plot is very predictable, but I can't fault the episode too much for that. It basically come across as fan service. I like parts of that, but also it comes close to being entirely filler. 6/10.

Blood Sisters is by far my least favorite episode of Rebels at this point in the rewatch. Fighter Flight is the only one that comes close, but at least it feels a tad more relevant. This episode could've been really interesting, especially if they dragged out the conflict between Sabine and Ketsu like Spider mentioned. Yet instead it feels rushed to the point where there's no need to be invested in it.
I like that they took an episode here to try and develop Sabine more, but sadly it falls flat for me. It's very forgettable, and I can't say I like that much about it. 3/10.

Lowered some scores here. Trying to think of them as if they’re TCW episodes and grade them at that level.
