They're slightly charming, but not worth watching unless you're killing time until you can see the actual show.

Gonna go ahead and watch these since Disney felt proud enough to put them under their own banner.

The first one was entertaining not gonna lie. Didn't annoy me that much. Only thing is that it makes fighting the Empire feel like an everyday occurrence like finding a parking spot. But I mean it's a commercial, right? So I'll give it a pass. The two feel realistic but I'm not sure if they fit into Star Wars. Kinda like Finn with his weird comments.

Well the second one was... unexpectedly dark... until it wasn't. I guess thermal detonators are no longer dangerous. It looked like she killed all of those stormtroopers but they were somehow all still alive? I don't know. Does she have force speed or something? They made it look like she just disappeared in front of their eyes. And then was able to taunt them Krell-style. Man, I miss Krell. 8 years. Wow. Anyway not the best but okay. Not gonna rate these.

These shorts are trying to make it known that explosions aren't dangerous and that's a very sad message for our children. Kidding aside, the third one was the most cartoonish one yet. The stormtroopers had several opportunities to kill our boy and then just didn't for some reason. I thought that one pilot's gun was empty or something and he was bluffing, but no, he just is determined not to kill any Rebels. Again, fine. But it's weird to advertise your show by making it look like there's no stakes. Electrostaff was cool tho. Not a big fan of the voice.

Last one was okay I guess. Maybe it's my bias but I feel like these characters just don't fit into Star Wars. Like the way they talk feels too much like 2010s Earth. Idk. Also it looks like we're not allowed to kill anyone. Maybe that's just these shorts. I don't know why every Imperial has to either be a douchebag or completely incompetent. Honestly, I'd be fine with either. If just incompetent, that would be interesting because it could show they were normal people thrown into this that weren't really soldiers and that would be interesting. Or if they were jerks but really good at their job, they'd be threatening. But with both attributes, they really are neither.
