At his point, it almost feels like they needed four movies to tell this story.
Part of it is because Episode I is so disconnected from the others. As a result, we have many threads that aren't set up until Episode II and then have to be resolved relatively quickly in Episode III.

Ep. III is really fun to watch. The writing and dialogue may be questionable from a critical standpoint, and the plot not completely sound, but it works more often than not for me. It contains some of the most pivotal moments in the Skywalker saga, and they were handled well enough. Thankfully, TCW helped to reduce some of the blemishes in this film and elevate it even higher among my ranking of the movies. It also helps that so many parts of this movie have become memes permeating pop culture, thus making the moments of bad writing more forgivable. When I watched ROTS with some friends a few months back, we counted roughly 250 lines or moments that we've seen as formats, making for nearly 2 memes a minute.  |

Wow, III is your favorite? After rewatching them all, yes. It may not be the objective best. But it is the most exciting one to watch and Anakin's fall really works for me. |
