This was mentioned. Anyone down? It can be confined to this thread. I'll put up a poll to determine the order and you guys can suggest a schedule. I actually just watched ANH before typing this and I was doing a rewatch with my roommates beginning with TPM (kinda stopped after Rogue One idk why..) so starting with ANH would be my preference... If there's an order not on the poll anyone wants just comment

I'm fine doing chronological again like with TCW. Not sure how we want to break down the schedule, but 1-2 weeks per movie seems fitting.

I'll post my ANH comment anyway. This is seriously a magical movie. Never a boring moment, just a fantastic adventure from start to finish. The introductions to the characters are perfect. The lore about the Jedi just sounds so cool. It's a damn good screenplay with some witty lines and good world building elements. You don't see storytelling like this much these days. I wish they made a tv show back then akin to Star Trek about the Empire vs Rebellion. I think that could've turned out really well.
A couple thoughts:
- Young Carrie Fisher is so freaking cute.... But she and Mark kinda aged a lot over the next six years. However Harrison, the oldest of the three, looked surprisingly good in ROTJ - Luke seemed pretty upbeat throughout the film. I think most people if they were in his shoes would've needed a little time to just sit in a corner and cry... His aunt and uncle, the people who raised him, died, Obi-Wan died, Biggs died, and he killed a bunch of Stormtroopers all during like one week - They just let some kid with zero military experience, a shady smuggler and his partner into the Rebel Alliance? And immediately let them fight in their most important battle? Lol. The rebels in Rogue One would've kicked Luke to the streets after he gave them the droids. But seriously a couple lines addressing this wouldn't have hurt. Just a simple exchange like "We're letting this kid fly with us?", "We need all the help we can get." Something along those lines. - Chewbacca's medal was in the TROS trailer - Normally I associate Vader with being badass but this whole movie I just felt like he was in a gimp suit.... - George kept adding visual clutter to the screen and it's so obvious what was not originally there... But why didn't he make the lightsabers look better? Feel like this would be a fairly simple thing for them to do. - The best quality versions of these movies look so good. R2 in the Jundland Wastes looks like it's from a current movie it's so crisp. Impressive how they can do stuff like that - There's some really really good dialogue in this movie. Like absolutely nothing was cringeworthy. And you notice how many lines TCW but also the prequels took from this one.
Honestly George created an absolutely incredible universe. The designs of everything, the ships, the tech, the aliens, everything is so cool.

Didn't even know about this thread I've been wanting to do a rewatch, since the saga is ending this year (until they inevitably add another trilogy in the next ten years or something). However I'm leaning towards the IV, V, VI, I, II, III order, since I struggle to even think about going through The Last Jedi's slog...
