My friend is reading LOTR and they don't any get of it. Well somebody doesn't read the preface... I read the whole trilogy!  It was great! Took me about three months to read though. |

What character are you looking forward to seeing the most, that's new in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug? For me, it's either Bard the Bowman, or Beorn.

I really like the scene where the dwarves start to appear at Bag End. That's a great scene. I also like it when they start singing That's what Bilbo Baggins hates.  |

I'm downloading the Hobbit HD version on my Ipad right now. Probably wont be able to watch it all tonight though so maybe ill watch it tomorrow.

Favourite dwarf: Balin Favourite Hobbit: Bilbo (he's probably my favourite character) I also love Gandalf. And the LOTR books aren't too difficult, I read them before the movies. |

I've just read the Hobbit and to be blunt I thought it was all right here and there. I felt there wasn't to much character development and I would've liked to hear more from the dwarves. The battle was great to read, but there were some parts where I felt were a bit slow paced. It's probably because I watched the film before and felt it would have what the movie had.
