About to go hike for the first time in five months Really? I've been doing it for years. I'm lucky we have a lot of countryside to explore

About to go hike for the first time in five months Haha did the same thing two days ago. Me and my brother made the mistake of going with a friend who does construction work so we were lagging behind the whole time.

Been surrounded by city forever now and not able to get away. It drains you man. I know what you mean. Much as I like visiting cities, I don't think I've got the strength to handle living in one I think living in a city is pretty unhealthy for a lot of reasons. A while ago I read about how people living near rail systems are more likely to have heart trouble, etc. because the constant stimulation can stress your body. I imagine it's the same way in loud cities.

You really don't hear it at all if they have proper walls around the railway though. My girlfriend lives right next to the busiest railway in the country and when I stay at her house I barely notice the trains coming by. You only really hear them occasionally if you are in the backyard, but rarely.

Much as I like visiting cities, I don't think I've got the strength to handle living in one Personally I could never live outside a city. Proper access to public transport and having everything in walking (or if necessary cycling) distance is awesome. I rarely come outside the cities as well. There are cities I visit on a daily basis like Amsterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Den Bosch, and my own Helmond. But I think I visited a non-city area thrice in the last 12 months. And even then, I could usually still see a city in the distance, the countryside here doesn't really compare to that of most countries anyway.

I was actually thinking about switching to PlayStation but bruh why does it look so ugly... I’m guessing they will release a performance version later and invert the colors or make it all black which might look better but idk. Xbox looks dope but the name is so dumb... Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X naming is so bad makes no sense lol

Well it's back to the dating scene again for me. The girl I'd been seeing had been struggling a lot with anxiety over the future and distance between us. At least we still get to be friends, which isn't so bad But god, I forgot how hard it is to find someone who's my type on these dating sites...

I mean it's a big, black brick Still, some of the PS5 games looked hugely promising. Kind of worried how they never announced any price for it though, which has me wondering if we're getting another PS3 in terms of extortionate prices

I mean I guess they have to put a lot of hardware and stuff in. Maybe they could make the old consoles with their limited capabilities smaller today but not really the new ones

Could make for some awkwardly late announcements To be honest, I would love to see a retro looking console. Like a modern PlayStation styled to look like the first one

I'm still happy to still talk to her as a friend than just never hear from her at all. She's the only real life friend I've got

I doubt the current pandemic helped with that distance situation (it has been harder for me and my girlfriend to see each other as well). But I am sure it will be fine. At least you know how to do this and that you can do this now. The confidence should make it easier. Good luck though.

That time a year when all the girls booties make your eyes go 😍 You mean the time of the year when I have to live like a vampire for 3 months? Fuck that, can't wait for girls to start wearing winter coats again. One day of heat and I am already done with it.

Every time I try to talk at my work meetings I sound so autistic.... Feel like they think I am dumb and don't know anything about the company and also that English isn't my first language lmao. Which technically I guess it isn't but my mastery of English is significantly better than my native language

Been wearing athletic wear basically every day for the past 7 years lol. Trying to put some more effort into how I look and how I dress going forward.

I've been dressing kinda like this (at least in colder months) www.reddit.com/r/NavyBlazer/comments/fnadk6/starter_kit_ideas_for_a_friend_whos_started/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf (not terrible starter kit btw) though with not as many button downs and more pastel t shirts, polos, and shorts for the past several years lol. Basically as white as possible not just because I like it but I think it creates a better impression too. However I'm kinda wanting to try streetwear (like denim jacket and stuff) or retro 80s inspired outfits now... lmao. A sort of low effort yet at the same time high effort style If I had to recommend one thing it would be a good pair of short inseam (5-7 inch) khaki shorts. They're incredibly versatile and good looking imo. Paired with a pocket t shirt you got a good casual outfit. Can spice it up with cool sandals and a watch (don't sleep on nato straps) I know you didn't ask but that is my input lmao....

To be honest though, I think it was probably going to happen anyway. Either way, it at least gives me some experience and you're right, I do feel more confident now

I've gotten a denim jacket, a leather jacket, and some button downs. I was able to look a bit like Marty McFly. Also looking to get a watch. I ain't sure about nato straps though.
