I don't see why they need this. "Star Wars for girls"? Star Wars already is for girls, lots of girls like it... I think DC did something like this a while ago too on Cartoon Network or something I don't remember. Does this shit actually increase female audience size?

So idk if people were still wondering about what Matt Lanter was doing lines for but he was in this video so I guess it's this. The Anakin and Ahsoka ones could actually be kinda cool... What if they bring Rex in too? They could have some goofy Clone Wars skits... that would be awesome I can picture it now...

Wow episode 1 was actually really good. Rey had some really great dialogue glad they got Daisy Ridley to voice. My favorite part was when she said "no"

But in seriousness I'm genuinely curious about the Ahsoka and Padme ones only because they're prequels. Hope we see Anakin and some clones. It won't be that good I know but it'll be nice to hear TCW voice actors again

Well the overall idea from the interview with Kennedy from my interpratation that girls need this kind of stuff to be interested in Star Wars is just wrong IMO. But then again I don't have much faith in Kennedy's leadership, put Dave Filoni at the helm of Star Wars please
I was never a fan of this idea from the announcement but I don't see the point too much, I hope some of the others are a bit more interesting. Or maybe instead of doing random episodes with different characters every time they could have told one continuous story over the course of all the episodes....

I believe this season is supposed to be something like 14-16 episodes... I'd rather see a continuous story like I said.
Anakin and Ahsoka
Padme and Ahsoka
Finn and Rey
Leia, Luke and Han
Sabine and Hera
Idk... the last one wouldn't be needed because of Rebels and Finn/ Rey would probably contradict future movies but still the idea stands, there's no reason it needs to be female focused either like I said I don't think girls are going to suddenly love Star Wars because of these little shorts.

The only one I'm actually looking forward to is the Ahsoka one(s). I know they can't tell a whole lot in 2 minutes, but it will still be cool to see more Clone Wars stuff. I don't really like all the stuff with Rey because all of that was supposed to happen in like 2 hours... and I just can't imagine that happening in the context of TFA.

Yay Ahsoka. I'm glad they didn't do her last I think that would've been weird because it would've been the saga in reverse order...
Anakin looked Potato is Awesomeing retarded though... Looked like he was wearing lipstick and why was his hair blonde... But whatever it was nice to hear their voices again, that's really the main thing to look forward to

Also the Coruscant setting was cool. It looked a lot like 2003 Clone Wars. Is the same Tarkovsky or whatever guy doing it? I don't remember if they said he was or he wasn't...

Not bad, but I'm just happy to hear TCW voices again. Like Kenobi said, Coruscant looked like it did from the 2003 micro series. Especially that opening shot.
Just one thing... why do Ahsoka's lightsabers make the sound her white ones do in Rebels? I love the sound, but the green ones shouldn't sound like that.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if they made a proper tv series like this... I think a lot of people don't really like the animation but I think it's alright. 3D is best but probably more expensive, this doesn't look bad. Overall I mean, obviously certain character designs need to be better..... Like Anakin.... but still.
It'd be too much to ask for to be clone wars but something set during the OT could be enjoyable. These clips could actually be kinda good if they weren't just 2 minutes of random pointless shit.
The irony here though, their target audience is like 4 year old girls but 4 year old girls do not use YouTube...
