I think Lucas is great at coming up with general story ideas but a bit worse at directing/writing... That's why TCW worked so well, Lucas had the ideas and the TCW crew did the directing/writing mostly.

I think the ones George was involved with the most, like the droid arc, were the weakest... After the OT, everything he touched turned to memes Well, George Lucas was heavily involved in all Clone Wars episodes... and we should be glad for that... He blocked all the horrible ideas. Did you hear Filoni's original idea for TCW? It was basically Rebels set in the Clone Wars era... But Lucas told him that would be a stupid idea... so yeah I don't think we can complain about his involvement in TCW. Oh yeah, forgot about that.

Season 5 in general was so weird. Like when you spend a whole season on five stories and only bother to make two of them good.

Not really a complaint with the show but I would have liked if there was another lego game of TCW based on seasons 3-5. Right now i'm going to go through each episode of Season 3 to see what episodes could work as levels.
Clone Cadets: Yes, level could be you playing as clones and fighting your way through the citadel course. Arc Troopers: Yes, because you have to have 2 characters when your in lightsaber duels Anakin and Obi-Wan would have to battle Grievous and Ventress one at a time before moving on to the other. Supply lines: could work with the ryloth storyline. No Jar Jar shit though.
Corruption: Nah
The Academy: Sure, I wouldn't want to play as any of the cadets though..
Assassin: I guess, you could play as Padme and Ahsoka vs Aurra Sing Evil Plans: fuck no Hunt for Ziro: YES, Obi-Wan and Quinlan Vos vs Cad Bane
Probably can't do the two political eps.
Night sisters: YES, at the star you play as Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Ventress and then later you switch to Ventress and one of the night sister and you battle Dooku. Monster: Yes, Savage and Feral going through the trials and fighting Ventress. Witches of the Mist: Savage and Ventress vs Dooku, and then Anakin and Obi-Wan vs Savage. Overlords: Nah, this wouldn't feel right in a war game Altar of Mortis: Same as Overlords Ghosts of Mortis: Same as Overlords The Citadel: Yes, definitely Counterattack: Yes Citadel Rescue: Yes Padawan lost: Could work, you could do the felucca battle at the start, and then fight the trandoshans with the padawans later. Wookie Hunt: Yes, but in the boss battle against the Trandoshan you need another player with Ahsoka to fight him.

Season 5 had so many problems... first, the weird and confusing trailer which led us to believe that the clovis arc was in season 5, and then they decided Revival would be the premire, and then the fucking youngling and droid arcs....it kind of gave a mixed message on how dark the show was with the maul arc following the droid one. And they were all 4-parters....nice variety (sarcasm) And then the book of spoilers surrounding the maul arc...

I think they could start it right when Ani, Obi, and Ashoka get the character model updates to differentiate it. But maybe use "ARC Troopers" as an opening le keep like the original did with Geonosis Arena.

Also I think the game missed quite a few episodes that could've turned into pretty good levels...

The original lego TCW game was really good. But I doubt we will ever see it now... Disney would rather have separate Lego games for all of their sequel movies (which makes no sense, the original games covered at least 3 movies).

Anyway I think my biggest complaint is lack of just Anakin and Obi-Wan episodes. There were some in season 1 but later it was just other people or Ahsoka would always be there. I mean they're at the center of the story... TCW definitely portrayed their relationship better than in the movies. I would've liked to see more of that. The Utapau arc is imo the best one they did, I wish they did it earlier so it would be fully animated. They should've done more stuff like that.

Oh did it show them being kinda tense or something? I guess only showing a friendly relationship wouldn't be the best since it's not exactly like that in the movies. Would've been cool to see Anakin really mad at Obi-Wan on screen. Not like in Mortis though

One thing I liked very well that the show did is that they developed Anakin's growing distrust of Obi-Wan and the Council in a very gradual and logical way.

Like Maul needed all four episodes. WAC on the other hand did not.

I thought Season 4 had like the perfect mix of episode to get a good variety in there while still making time to be epic. There we had three 4-parters, two 3-parters, one 2-parter and 2 stand alones. That was a good mix and we got to see enough of pretty much every character.
Like Anakin was barely in Season 5 for some damn reason.

I actually feel like Season 5 was pretty low budget... compared to what season 6-8 probably would have been. Maybe they tried to cut corners in season 5. Near the end of TCW they where actually spending money to produce the show

I still don't know how Dave let that Darth Maul book get released. The spoilery one? It did not get released on purpose... They had a preview up on Amazon or Google books... but the preview was different for everyone and the search function would show you sections that were not available to you... so it was all accidental... I was actually one of the people on SW.com who accidentally figured it out... Firebird was talking about how the book spoiled a death (meaning Adi Galia) but for me the preview showed the death of Vizsla... from there I found out about Satine's and Savage's and the end of the book through the search function... It was really pretty stupid and I kind regret reading it...
