So some information has been gathered about some of the scenes, or parts of scenes, that were cut. This is some of the stuff that was cut (although I'm not 100% sure on all of it):
A scene of a Resistance trooper sent by Leia to Hosnian Prime asking the Republic for help. This probably should have been kept in because it would have clarified the planet destruction scene a lot more (and it would introduce us to some characters that actually die in the blast).
A scene with Maz and Leia. This is pretty much guarunteed to have been made because the second trailer showed Maz handing Leia the lightsaber. It sort of sucks that this was cut, but for pacing reasons I can understand why they had Maz disappear after the battle on Takodana.
Kylo Ren and Snowtroopers search the Millennium Falcon on Starkiller Base. I'm guessing Kylo might showed a bit of emotion in this scene since I'm sure he flew on it with Han in his youth. If that's true, I would have liked to have seen this scene.
Rey and Finn stealing a First Order Snowspeeder. Lots of toys for this vehicle were made but it's only seen in the background for the final cut of the movie (I've seen the movie twice now and I've had troubles spotting it both times..). So it makes sense that it apparently had a larger role. I can understand why this was cut.
