I guess Rogue One is probably technically better than TPM and AOTC. But I definitely feel more when watching those movies. The movie wanted to be dark but instead it was just bland.

I have more respect for Rogue One than I do for the Force Awakens. At least it tried to do something original. It had a story with telling, but it just didn’t tell it very well.
Force Awakens is the laziest movie I’ve ever seen. But I think it might be less painful to sit through than Rogue One. So I’m not sure which is worse.

It is worse than AOTC and TPM because those two movies were not corporate products. Sure, George Lucas liked money too, but he also liked selling a story so there is more of a 'soul' in his movies. The Disney movies don't have that.

Ripping off ANH has serious consequences because it resets the galaxy and takes away the accomplishments of the original characters. Rogue One doesn't even come close to ruining the canon the way the sequels do

The sequels have no soul as you said but I think RO comes a lot closer to being like George's movies.

It's not a bad movie tbh, just not great either.

I will be honest, if all Disney content had Rogue One or Solo quality I would have continued to watch their movies. Those are 6/10 movies. I will take that over 2/10 Rebels, 1/10 Mandalorian and the 0/10 Sequel Trilogy.

Kenbo the new black series package is legit... I just bought some characters for the first time in a few months. Zeb, the rerelease or Kanan and Chopper plus 2 of the new stormtroopers. Amazon is already sold out on preorders of the Kamino Clone and Beskar Mando. Honestly if I can end up buying a whole wave case of this August wave I might.... Beskar Mando, ESB Vader, Stormtrooper, Pilot Luke, Teebo, Ackbar, Kamino Clone comes in the case. Also want to pick up Hera and Ezra... already have the older Sabine, don’t really care for the updated face on her cause she has the helmet.

Archive figures are back in stock fully at normal price on amazon atm.... I just picked up Maul and Boba. Boba is a bit more expensive then the others.

I was really tempted to get Ahsoka but idk I think eventually they will make other versions of her and if they're better I would regret getting the Rebels one. I think I will only get figures from media that I really like I ordered Dooku from GameStop about a month ago still no word on him... That whole wave is hard to find because of the pandemic I think. He'll probably be my last figure for a while until Cody is rereleased. I think it's guaranteed he will win the archive fan vote. I want to stop collecting because I have enough now but I would probably make exceptions for a Purge Trooper rerelease, Clone Commando, or maybe TCW Ahsoka

I just now realized that Warthog, that Clone pilot that Plo Koon kept saving probably helped kill him on Cato Nemodia.

Obi-Wan is only marginally better at rescuing Satine than his son is.

The only good part of the Corruption arc was that we finally got to meet Obi-Wan’s disappointing son.

Of everything I’ve seen:
Amazing: The Clone Wars Episode III Episode IV Episode V
Good: Episode I Episode VI
Okay: 2D Clone Wars Rebels Mandalorian Episode II
Bad: Rogue One Episode VII

Well here is my controversial opinion I guess. I put them all in order, so Episode III is above Episode V for me. Amazing: TCW Good Episode III Episode VI Episode V Okay: Episode IV Episode I Episode II Solo Mediocre: Rogue One 2D Clone Wars Bad: Episode VII Rebels Absolutely terrible: The Mandalorian Episode VIII

Went back and watched the prequels lightsaber duels and I can safely say that in comparison, the ST's idea of a lightsaber battle is some of the most chicken livered, underwhelming crap. At least ANH had the excuse of it being a first and time and both actors weren't exactly a couple Ray Parks. Even ESB and ROTJ eclipse them without question. There's just none of the blazing speed and ferocity the prequels had. Instead it's ploddy and sluggish. It's just so baffling to me as it ends up making Rey and Ben look like they'd get completely annihilated by even TPM Obi-Wan with ease and as a result you just lose the sense of spectacle. I just cannot grasp how they thought this was a good idea. One thing George always had as a major strength was his sense of spectacle and how to convey it. Shame Disney can't seem to at least do the same.

Shame Disney can't seem to at least do the same. Anakin/Hayden's movesets are just incredible like they are so fast and aggressive and it's very fitting. Everyone in the sequels looks like they're just swinging around baseball bats. Like they appear heavy for some reason too. Nothing that impressive I don't remember if anyone even did a simple flourish. Idk if they were against choreographed duels because prequel bad or they just wanted to save time. I could understand it being the latter all the prequel actors spent months on the choreography. The sequel production might not have been able to spend that much time

Hey, I've got an interesting question. Are deleted scenes generally counted as being canon? There's quite a few from the prequels that honestly feel like they should've been kept in, let alone treated as canon

Hey, I've got an interesting question. Are deleted scenes generally counted as being canon? There's quite a few from the prequels that honestly feel like they should've been kept in, let alone treated as canon Which ones? There's one where Qui-Gon and Anakin are heading back to the ship to leave and Qui-Gon cuts up one of Maul's probe droids, leading them to start running. There's also a long scene from AOTC where Anakin and Padme visit her family. For the most part the deleted scenes don't add any major events, but I couldn't help wondering if they're officially accepted as having happened (be it canon, or legends)

There’s rumors the sequels will be removed from canon... Yeah I keep seeing that stuff but I think it's bs coming from unreliable sources. I don't see them decanonizing 1/3 of their "Skywalker Saga" which got an "epic conclusion" with TROS

I don't see them decanonizing 1/3 of their "Skywalker Saga" which got an "epic conclusion" with TROS The media would tear them apart for decanonizing Rey. And they’d be admitting defeat. It would be like if Doctor Who said the Thirteenth Doctor wasn’t canon.
