Also fun fact TCW micro series won 3 prime time emmys..... Honestly, I never understood the love people have for that series. It isn't bad, but there is no story, almost no dialogue and just a lot of over the top action that is not in line with the movies. |

It was a hype builder for episode 3, I remember watching it on Cartoon Network prior to ROTS. The “episodes” were only like 5 minutes so they would often play one in between other shows. |

And its insane force abilities are just incongruent with anything seen in the films. I get why some people like it a lot. But I can’t help but cringe when people call it better than the 3D series or even the “best Star Wars ever made.”
It’s fun to look at, but there’s no character, no substance, and very little story.

If you think it is vastly better than a show where characters are more than a couple sound bites and there's actual compelling storylines you are retard I do wish however they incorporated some elements from the micro series into TCW. Obi-Wan's armor for example or the stuff with Anakin's tattoo. But I guess they maybe didn't want to overwrite existing content which was all canon due to the tiered canon system (which looking back was kind of weird lol) |

It's got better visuals than TCW's first season  Since I grew up on the mini-series, nostalgia always makes me fond of it, but you're right. It's the ultimate case of style over substance. It's got a lot of stuff I love, like the clones being portrayed as these almost silent, highly efficient, powerhouses, Grievous actually being a terrifying force to be reckoned with and honestly I sort of like the over the top power portrayed in the characters. Even if it feels completely disconnected from the films. I mean just about everything Windu does in this show is hilariously overpowered While I'd say it's better than a good few episodes of TCW, its replacement proved better in more complex ambitions and the fact it made episodes like Lawless, Sacrifice and just about anything with Maul in it |

I really like imperials tbh, idk because they aren’t really fighters they seem more poseable as just officers. Think I may just make a full shelf of empire.
I want to get intro republic but I got into collecting too late, guys like Cody and Wolfe are just too expensive. Honestly though low key Sabine is the best figure.... her limbs are crisp and she stands surprisingly better than most females that have the naturally smaller legs,
I have a Qi’ra coming I got for like $5 but I think after that I’m gonna take a break until some of the new ones release. Basically just trying to collect characters I like. I might try for a Kanan and Hera or something if I can get a good deal, for some reason Ezra been out a year and he’s wild expensive online.

I pulled the trigger on Yavin Luke a while ago because I actually found him in a store and my nearby stores never have any new stuff. I would've liked the Skywalker strikes pack with the accessories but I didn't really want to pay extra for that. But yeah I figured my chances of getting the Purge Trooper are quite low so I thought I'd just get Luke instead. Kinda nice I have my favorite main protagonists now lol Anakin, Luke, Cal, and Obi-Wan. They really need to rerelease Cody I think with him and Dooku I will be satisfied with my collection unless they make someone else really cool. I am also a bit tempted by Bespin Han but Idk I don't want to get more OT figs and I might go down the rabbit hole of wanting to get all the main movie characters so Leia, Padme, Chewie, the droids... Also how much did you get Thrawn for he seems to be quite pricey how |

Most of them I got on sale tbh from either Amazon, eBay or Big Bad Toy Store. Rex was only $18 but the packaging was slightly damaged which is why he was discounted. I think I just want a few characters I like from every era tbh. I want a Han, Leia, Luke but I think I’ll wait for the new 40th anniversary ESB characters that have been leaked. I hope there’s a new Boba for that as well, I want him. I want a Mando at some point but maybe a new figure with full armor is more likely now... also want a rerelease of Kenobi. |

Imo this is not as much of a loss as 1313. I think there's a good chance it would've had some of the prequels' issues. I doubt creating a Coruscant environment would be easy so I'd expect lots and lots of green screen and cgi which is already present in the BTS portion. One thing I appreciate about Mando is how much practical stuff it has. Also if George was writing it alone, I'd expect more bad dialogue akin to the prequels lol

Luke is gonna be the hot one though because the original was only released once years ago at the start of the line. I think there will also be a wave 2 with Vader, Boba, Rebel and Snow troopers The Bespin Han has been tempting me for a long time tbh. But I think if I get him I'd have to get everyone else Leia, Chewie, and the droids lol. I think I have more OT figures than PT now which is not what I wanted... |

Tbh I dont even remember that... But I think people say that doesn't work because the door to his hut was the wing of the X-Wing But honestly it's very hard to say. There's not a lot actually memorable from the movies and even some of the decent scenes I can't help but dislike. I guess the Ben Solo parts at the end were cool I like how he was doing all the Ford/Solo mannerisms. It made me wish we got Ben Solo for the whole trilogy and not the last ten minutes before he dies |

I think my favorite scene was the token gay couple in the background of the celebration scene lol. Great job, Disney...
Honestly though, it's a good question because now that I think about it I'm struggling to come up with much, which I guess sums up my feelings about that trilogy.

Also Wolffe and K2-SO but those are 3.75 Not sure why they went with Teebo over Wicket or a generic Ewok. Mando should've had a cloth cape and Boba and the Stormtrooper look kinda ugly. Hoping there's some prequel stuff coming

Micro series complaints compilation I don't understand at all when people say that the 2003 Clone wars show is still better than this one. I mean it was okay, but it didn't really add anything we couldn't figure out on our own and didn't make much sense.
