I remember some video a while ago making the argument that Naboo and Alderaan should’ve been combined into one, the reasoning that thus we’d have more attachment to the planet we see blown up in IV if we see more of it in the prequels.

Man I’m pretty excited for Star Wars stuff in the next few months... The Last Jedi and Rebels ending were kind of low points. Resistance never caught me that much but it’s not terrible tbh, I can respect it’s a show for much younger audiences though. Solo was criminally underrated imo. But in the next 6 months... September: SWTOR expansion November: Fallen Order game, The Mandalorian December: Rise of Skywalker February: Clone Wars And all throughout ongoing BF2 updates and Potato and I still play SWGOH at least so we have that stuff to look forward too.

Bob Iger said in a newly released book of his that George didn't take well to TFA. "There's nothing new" he apparently said. Why does this not at all surprise me...

One tweet doesn't really register a person as "garbage" in my opinion. In my view most people who head into politics, regardless of leaning, have a higher likelihood of turning out garbage.

He’s just really nasty. Like Jim Carrey levels of awful. I don’t get attacking a five year old kid regardless of who their grandfather is.

Looking like Johnson's trilogy is kinda in the air now. We've gone from concrete confirmations of it happening to Rian himself saying along the lines of "If it happens". This, coupled with Feige coming aboard tells me there's some serious rethinking going on. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if D&D's trilogy is on hold.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind if they went the arrow verse approach with a lot of shows but obviously higher budget if the streaming service does well

Haven't really been into books/comics in a long while but I picked this up recently Such a cool comic that's brilliantly written. It's about Vader looking for the pilot who blew up the Death Star and Luke trying to get revenge for Obi-Wan and also find his place in the galaxy. They're both trying to kill each other in the beginning which was my favorite part but then at the end Boba, who Vader hired, finds out Luke's identity and tells Vader who's like shit I've been trying to kill my son lol. I wasn't planning on getting more of these but with the cliff hanger ending I kinda want the second volume. However I don't really want to spend a bunch of money on getting a ton of these so idk... But it's a very cool series. Makes me wish we got a show like TCW but with Luke, Han, Leia and the gang

I have these downloaded but haven’t used it yet. You can read them through the kindle app.

D&D's Star Wars trilogy is cancelled. Considering how unsure Johnson is with his, it's looking like Feige's film is the only concrete project now

I'm so glad they dropped it. After their recent remarks about GOT, I was really worried they'd mess up Star Wars even more. Oh god, what did they say to make it worse? Lots of stupid stuff. They admitted they never understood the story or its themes... they found the books too complex apparently. Also apparently they constantly forgot character names and wanted to remove as many fantasy elements from the series to make it more likable. Essentially, HBO should have fired them after season 4. Disney made the right call for once.

Disney made the right call for once. They also let many of the actors decide how to develop their characters, especially Maise/ Arya. Plus they threatened to kill off characters if the actors didn't fall in line with their vision. Not to mention they never listened to fan feedback and described their whole time on the show as a drunk party. Really shows how lucky we are the earlier seasons weren't a mess, even with source material.

I wonder how things will proceed for Star Wars now, given that D&D were set to handle the next film after IX. Even though there's 3 years still before that release, if they don't figure something out soon, this could get even messier if they pressure directors to meet that deadline. Hopefully they get someone competent to take over that slot soon.

Are they even fans of the books? Lots of stupid stuff. They admitted they never understood the story or its themes... they found the books too complex apparently. Then again, one of them's partially responsible for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so I guess it's sort of expected

Considering how unsure Johnson is with his, it's looking like Feige's film is the only concrete project now I heard Disney is still on board with Johnson's trilogy. I personally loved the Last Jedi so i really hope he gets to make them. D&D could've been interesting too, but i'm far less intrigued by what they could've made.

It would be criminal to finish the saga and not have Anakin involved somehow. It's likely because Disney is still a coward towards any major prequel references.

Anakin needs to be in it. Tbh I see Star Wars as Anakin's story more than anyone else's. It will be a mistake to not include him

It will be a mistake to not include him Luke and Vader (not so much associated with Anakin) are honestly the first things I think of when seeing Star Wars in a general sense. I guess it’s cause my first interactions when I was like 5 was with ANH.
