You should count Siege of Lothal as one episode. Just like Spark of Rebellion. It counts as 2, it's a combined plot of two episodes that they put into a "film" which it really isn't. IMO The Clone Wars movie is also just a 4 part arcIt would've been way better if it actually were.

IMO The Clone Wars movie is also just a 4 part arc Officially they count as 1 episode of 45 minutes. More 22-24 minute shows have 45 minute episodes that also just count as one. They have the combined length of 2 episode but still count as one. Basically it's TV movie, not a film. TV movies can be shorter. However that's the crappy marketing. These just count as episodes officially.

Siege of Lothal, production-wise, is two episodes. When Season 2's complete, it will be Siege of Lothal plus 20 additional episodes. So it will be 22 in the end just like they said.

This is going to be great! Seriously, Hondo looks so bad, even for Rebels standards...

I like how Hondo is in it and his voice is still really good however it seems like they're going to be replacing Vizago with Hondo. But Hondo may get back on his feet it seems.

I think they got everything else right besides his design. But actually I think his face looks better than in that preview we saw a long time ago. Seems like there's more texture. But it doesn't match his completely flat body I would've at least liked to see his coat TCW Hondo had a really cool model. And I like that they got the Indian music too it'd be cool if we saw his monkey lizard thing too. I know it probably died a while ago but they could have a reference to it or some other Easter egg.. Or just keep it alive like the POTC monkey...

You can tell that he is much older and probably has lost all his influence he once had during TCW. So yeah this makes sense that the design is different and much less detailed then the one from TCW. He's not in control anymore and has become just a smuggler making bets all the time.

Good episode. I really liked the first half, but the second plot with Vizago felt a bit disjointed from the first plot with Azmorigan. Hondo had the best lines as always. "I don't deal with wretched low lives!" "Now, now, let's not bring your wife into this."

Should I bother watching this show? I remember way way back before starwars.com started Facebook comments and purged all of us from the site we all hated Rebels, so I still haven't bothered to watch it.

I usually just read the ep guide on SW.com each week, unless there's some important duel..... Or a Clone Wars character appears in the episode.....

Season 1's sort of slow and uneventful at times. But I think Season 2 has done a pretty good job so far of stepping it up and making each episode more eventful. Not as much happens in Rebels episodes compared to Clone Wars episodes, but because of that they're able to focus on developing the core characters a bit more.

That was a pretty good side adventure, if this was TCW it would have been some BS Mercy Mission thing but side adventures in Rebels actually have the core characters which is nice.
Very similar to Iditos Array last season but I thought Hondo was done very well and I liked his relationship with Ezra. I liked how Hondo mentioned his "close" Jedi friend aka Kenobi.

Not as much happens in Rebels episodes compared to Clone Wars episodes, but because of that they're able to focus on developing the core characters a bit more. I like how it's all connected, allows more development for core characters like you said... The ghost crew has been in every episode to date and will likely continue to be. Ezra has just as much if not more development then Ahsoka had at the mid way point of season 3. Also like I said on the past but side adventures on Rebels are more enjoyable due to the characters. I like how Rex has been on every episode so far, it's nice having him around. Him and Kanan are getting along now and Rex calls him sir

Another mediocre episode... Like nothing has happened so far... I guess we're only 5 episodes in but still they should at least hint at a major plot point. I don't really like the Rex cameos they're kinda pointless and I'd rather him be off somewhere with Ahsoka doing important stuff...
Hondo was okay he had some pretty good lines. The ice planet thing was cool too. However I wish Ezra owing Vizago was shown differently. Him letting him out of the cell was a hugely wasted opportunity.. They could've spent an entire episode on it like Vizago could've made them do something Kanan would be uncomfortable with and then he would get mad at Ezra for dealing with Vizago behind his back.
Next episode looks promising though. Even if nothing major happens, I think Hera and flying stuff (and Ackbar right?) will be cool. I'm glad she gets an episode to herself

Something else that bothers me is that everyone likes Ezra way too easily and are always pretty nice to him... Hondo was okay but I wish the Clones weren't as friendly with him. They shouldn't really be friendly in general after what they've been through.

But you can't really say nothing has happended because lots went on in that episode.

Okay, so I decided to start watching Season 2 and after the first episode, not so bad. Gregor is back, so unless I missed something I guess him surviving that big explosion is a mystery?
