Surprised that I didn't end up hating this episode. AP-5 was a good character, liked him a lot. The freighter design was fantastic (one of Rebels' strong points is its ship design) and while the pacing felt rapid and off, I did enjoy it more than I think I should have

Well I guess they're killing Ahsoka. Hope they at least don't fuck that up and that they make it about her as opposed to something stupid to motivate Kanan and Erza.

I feel like it's way too soon to kill of Ahsoka. She is garnering alot of ratings and money for them, it's just way way way too soon, and I think people will hate on the creators for choosing her to die to soon and having her die in Rebels. I think she should have an open ended fate

I think she should have an open ended fate Eh, I wouldn't say that. Sure, she's attracted some carryover fans from TCW, but I doubt that really makes that big of a difference. And they aren't really capitalizing on merchandise for her since I think the only Rebels Ahsoka toy out there is an action figure from Hasbro. I do agree that it might be a bit soon though. She's only appeared in like 5 episodes, and she's only had a decently sized role in 2 of them. I understand that this show isn't about her, but I think the potential with her (her new look, awesome new lightsabers, Gandalf-type role) would be wasted if they killed her off now. My mind could easily be changed if the finale's great though.

With all that hyping, anything short of a death would seem anti-climatic.

Vader getting the kill would be good. Plus Maul > Ahsoka

What do you think of the possibility that Vader offers Ahsoka a chance to join the dark side? I could totally see it happening (and then she'd obviously decline and he'd be forced to finish her). I can see the dialogue now. "Join me, and together we can destroy the Emperor, and rule the galaxy as master and apprentice"

Maybe Vader could slip with his dialogue and say that they could be master and apprentice "again", hinting that there's still some Anakin in him.

Kind of expecting Vader to ask her to join him but at the same time I feel Vader might not want her to suffer his fate.. I think Vader can be portrayed as like a helpless slave to the emperor but I think they'd go the simple route yet again for Rebels.

It was an interesting episode, the lightsabers have a training mode I guess which makes sense.
I'm not sure I understood the ending though, what was with the dark side music and the creatures? Is it because Ezra is shifting towards the dark side that he can no longer make a peaceful connection with the environment? Ahsoka and perhaps Kanan seem to know something that they never revealed in the episode.
However Ezra made a connection through the Dark side with that beast at the old clone base last season.

Okay new theory... Everyone lives next episode but the "Twilight" refers to Ezra leaving Kanan and running off with Maul for a good portion of season 3.
How awesome would it be if Ezra said "I know a guy who can help us" and he brings Maul to meet Hondo lol.

It was alright and was better than last week. Lots of foreshadowing for the finale though... bad things are definitely going to happen. I doubt Ezra's coming back.

Ezra's ability to bridge with creatures was always a light side type power, so the fact that he couldn't bridge with these hinted to his turn to the dark side. I think that's why they used the music. And the finale's next week and Vader's in it.

And the finale's next week and Vader's in it. It's entirely a light side power though as dark side users can do it. Ezra called upon the dark side in season 1. And in the EU there was dark side users that specializes in using beasts to attack people. DF likely pulled this from the EU as well. Apparently the Rebels Recon just said that the creatures are naturally aggressive and can't be controlled which is kind of weird since the creatures in season 1 were aggressive however maybe they can't be controlled by a Jedi?

LOL, of course the A-Wing pilot dies though... at this point it'd feel wrong if any lived.

Oh, wow, looking at the clip for the finale from Rebels Recon... yep, Ahsoka's dead. That was probably her last conversation with Rex. "Experience outranks everything"

Um... to be fair, just about everyone on the planet called this one. Dave Filoni's been tweeting lots of Ahsoka stuff lately too (one tweet was a sketch of her as a baby and then her as an adult), so I think even he's given up with keeping the secret at this point. All we can hope for now is that they handle it well.

So lots of people on the Rebels Facebook page are speculating that Revan will make a cameo in the finale... Would make sense. Malachor is closely associated to Revan and KOTOR.
It's possible Darth Revan could have been the creator of the Holocron Ezra holds
