That was actually a very good episode, as bad as his parents storyline was before they most certainly ended it in a very fitting way. I loved all the visions Ezra had and the one at the end was very good. The stuff with Kallus raiding the Rebels was pretty good as well, the Rebels are really on the ropes now but I see they got some new transports we haven't seen yet. You know after not being on Lothal for about 8 episodes or so it's actually kind of refreshing to see it again, I'm glad they didn't spend the entire episode on it though. I thought it was pretty good too. I'm happy they wrapped up the parents storyline, and I really hope they stay dead. The Imperial attack on Garrel was cool, but I don't like how easily Kallus was beat (especially because it was by Ezra). I agree about Lothal. I hated it in Season 1 because it was all we saw, but now that it's been absent for a while I sort of liked seeing it again. It felt a bit more like a ghost town now too. I also loved the former governor of Lothal's voice (Clancy Brown is awesome ).

I'd rate this episode lower than the previous two though. Maybe even below Wings of the Master. But it was still pretty good.

We recently watched The Shawshank Redemption in class and he was cool in that movie as well. A lot younger then he is now though lol. I don't think Lothal is going to be around forever though, I think the Rebels will gain a grip on it possibly with the Governor taking over again and then the Empire will probably destroy the entire city to send a message. Well Kallus was only with two troops, and I don't know why the Inquisitors where staying back so much... I liked that this storyline is most likely wrapped up for good. This show does have story's arcs however they're spread out and not all together. Which adds a bit more effect sometime to not have it all happen at once I guess.

So how do you think they will come back from the winter break? Serious episode or more of a fun side adventure?
I'm thinking the first episode back could be that Lando one were told about however it could be more serious but we just ended with multiple of those kind of episodes.
Vader would be cool to see I'd think

This episode was a lot better then i thought it'd be. Strong music too. Aaaand we have to wait until january again I always hate that so much. However the second half sounds pretty great with Mandalorians, backstories for Sabine and Zeb and almost certainly Ahsoka .vs. Vader. Can't wait!

And the winter break is a good thing since other wise we would only be getting most episodes every two weeks

Finally watched the episode pretty good. I liked the scene where Ezra was sitting on the rock. The music was good. I think it was sort of supposed to be like Luke watching the sunsets on Tatooine.
Also did anyone notice Kallus' badge thing changed colors? It was like red and blue in season 1 I think but now it's yellow. He probably got demoted lol

Apparently it's a promotion though (I think they confirmed this on one of the Rebels Recons).

Rebels makes the SW universe feels really small though. I feel like it was better in season 1 tbh.. I guess TCW felt big because of its multiple arcs taking place in several different places.. I wish Rebels would do arcs but they can't because there's sort of like a main story... Honestly I kind of want them to have appearances from other characters again. I hope we see Obi-Wan in some form in season 3 or something.

It does sort of have story arcs except they're not all in a row, which actually gets boring especially when it isn't a good story you're stuck watching that fucking crap for a month... Instead Rebels spreads it out like it has the arc with Ezra and his parents, Sabines new arc, Lando side adventures and stuff

But when you think about it TCW mid season always sort of sucked, it didn't leave you with lots of speculation for th second half like most shows would

This isn't a major spoiler, but it involves something from TFA that I think we could see in Rebels. So probably read this after you've seen the movie. I totally think we could see Lor San Tekka, the old guy Kylo Ren kills at the beginning, in Rebels. According to the visual dictionary for TFA, Lor San Tekka was a member of something called The Church of the Force during the Imperial era. They were basically guys that weren't force sensitive but still followed jedi ideals. I think it'd be awesome if we saw Lor and maybe the rest of the Church of the Force in Season 2 or 3. They'd totally fit. Not to mention Lor San Tekka seems like he has a lot of backstory, so it'd be nice to see him fleshed out more since all we've seen of him is his death.

I've been expecting a connection to TFA in Rebels for a while. There's a lot of time in between of course but it's not impossible

Well I expect a connecting as well but I guess I'll see after I watch the movie tomorrow, it's like a 35 year gap though.
Honestly splitting arcs up wasn't bad in TCW either, it worked fine with Revival... But TCW could literally have made a whole season just for the Maul stuff, I would probably find that kind of boring (to the point of bad) since Maul really doesn't fit the actual clone wars that well but just saying it's possible for TCW to have those kind of continuous stories as well since lots of arcs are connected from season to season

Looks like we'll see Leia... She actually looks a lot like young Carrie Fisher just smoother... But she looks old as well like she should be 15 the same age as Ezra...

Description for next episode "A Princess in Lothal"
"During the early rebellion against the rule of the Galactic Empire, Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan is sent to the planet Lothal on a mission to provide ships for the rebel fleet. When the Empire initiates a lockdown, her plan is thrown into jeopardy"
DF said this is her only episode this season.

Hmm, at first I was sort of against seeing Leia, but her model looks really good, and the premise for her coming in works pretty well so I'm curious. However, I'm sure Ezra will flirt with her a bit... Leia is older then 15. She's like 17 right now. I'm pretty sure they said Rebels is 15 years after ROTS. Ezra, Leia, and Luke were born on the same day, Empire Day Ezra's actually a few days older. The Mustafar duel/ Luke and Leia's birth was a little bit after Palpatine formed the Empire.

Looking at more pictures I think Leia has the best looking model in Rebels so far. Really great likeness to Carrie. Lando and Bail didn't really look like their actors. Obi-Wan kinda

Say what you will about George but at least when TCW was airing he personally paid for each episode so the models didn't look like Potato-Leia

Ezra, Leia, and Luke were born on the same day, Empire Day Doesn't mean he was born on the exact day the Empire was created... He can be born a few years after ROTS but still on Empire Day. Also Ezra had a birthday in the show so he's 16 now

If TCW was to go on then GL shouldn't have sold
