It was just confirmed that Colin Trevorrow (Jurassic World) will be directing Episode IX.
Meh... I liked Jurassic World, but I can't help but feel they just tried to get him because the film made so much money and they want that same success for Episode IX. Then again, in the press release Kathleen Kennedy made no mention of Jurassic World and said that she wanted to work with Trevorrow because of his work on some other film.

They should stick with the same director for all films. Or else it'll just feel different and inconsistent.
