Ok there is going to be an adjustment to make the game go faster.
There will no longer be two phase to every night.
So right now people who have normal roles can send in there actions now and you can also choose who to pickpocket. However you will be notified at the start of day 2 what people have stolen if anything and then you will be able to use those items night 2. So items can not be used in the same night they're acquired unless in special cases.

Also I guess I'll just say this but, items being use that night can not be pick pocketed. Further more most roles can only use certain items so most items stolen will be useless to that person stealing them, so lots of people may have extra time they cannot use. So item usage and stolen items can't really conflict
