Hello, members of the Ambush Games...
I do not know how else to say this. This is it, I guess.
I'm leaving the site. This decision was made after lots of thought (6 days, to be precise) and wasn't easily done.
Why? Well, as you all probably know, we've had numerous discussions about sensitive topics here, such as, y'know, those of sexual orientation. As I grow older, and learn more about myself, I have decided this simply isn't the place for me. It was, once, but not anymore, sadly.
I have been on this site for almost two years now (it'll be two years exactly this coming March) and I can seriously say that this site has been a huge part of my life for the past years. I have learned so much from all of you, and I've had both positive and negative experiences here. I will seriously miss every single one of you, and I can gladly say that all of you are my friends.
I'll always remember being accused by Newan and Potato in the games, or being teased by Obu, or that time I was Miss Pinky, or Honey Buns, or just simply having a daily discussion with everyone. These things have almost become a habit to me, constants in my life, and as I leave this site, I am going to miss them dearly. The experiences I've had here will remain with me for the rest of my days.
Having said that, I will still visit this place from time to time. I don't think I can ever permanently leave. That would be too difficult. (I'll still be on the NR, though.)
So, yep, this is goodbye. I'm going to be writing some things for school right now, so maybe I'll stay on for a few hours and reply to your posts... in the meantime, yeah.
Goodbye, everyone. I'm going to miss you all dearly. Of course, you'll all miss me as well. *flips hair*

Woah.... I'm sorry you're leaving because of things like this. I wish you would stay, but if you don't want to for fear of being offended, annoyed, etc. I understand. I'll miss you, Nam, you were a good guy and I got to know you pretty well over these past 2-3 years.

Damn.
I saw this thread title on the front page and... it took me like a minute to get the courage to click it.
I thought it might be Newan, he was the most recent poster. I thought it might be you, you hadn't been playing for months. And I was afraid it might be Star or Bane and Malgus or Tater or anyone.
And I saw the original poster and my heart sunk. This is really hard to type.
I know we've had our differences. We have for a long time. And I'm sorry about that. I really hope you didn't leave this site hating me, I think that's probably the worst thing that could happen.
I hope that you still will see the AG as a good place, not one of arguing and hate, but creativity and friendship.
I know this site wasn't perfect, far from it in fact. But I hope the good outweighs the bad in whatever memories you take with you.
When you leave this place and NR today, I hope you remember the old SW community as it was at its best.
I'll always remember you in Haters of the Jedi. I'll remember you with your Darth Sidious avatar and later your Vader one. I'll remember King Theoden. I'll remember Master Dave saying your name wrong with your Tamson question. And yes, I'll remember the circus.
But really, have a great future Nam.
And to the rest of you, as they say... winter is coming.

But well yeah I mean we will remember you as well Miss Pinky  all the times we had on SW.com, the chat and here on the AG were all great and every bit special in there own way even the bad ones  . You will forever be remembered as the smart, sensitive, Lemon Sucking, Baboon hating, Ventress loving, Miss Pinky, Honey Buns, Fire Breathing, AG punching bag  and of course Newan is the GOAT and will always be your favourite here and Obi is a crackhead But yeah you didn't say anything on the NR so I assume you will still be there? But hey you will be back eventually.... Nam is easily startled but he will be back and in greater grammar Nazi powers. |

Cool background but the theme is meh... I was considering looking into a new theme format and run it by Tater. But now Taters name looks like the same color as everyone else on the last online. And the mods name seem to blend into the damn color of the posts and stuff im color blind guys things blend in... Lol |

Well I'm sorry for that, and I guess I took a lot of stuff out on you back then...I just felt betrayed at times. I threw most of it at you, and all of it was untrue. I called you power-hungry many times, but you weren't. I didn't truly realize the concept of "Power comes with responsibility" phrase. For everything...we had some good times-especially at Gizka. You, Nat, Obi, and me.  Anyways, I know I'll probably chat with you again sometime, but still....have an excellent 2015 and beyond.  |

I don't really understand your reasons for leaving, if it was because of these heated discussion we could just do something about those. Goodbye Nam It was a good few years for you and I, and I'll miss you. We may started off a bit rocky in the beginning, but I would say we're good friends now. And it stinks that you are leaving. Just like Ahsoka's Farewell, and Korra's Farewell, now it's your turn. I wish you good luck for the future, and please visit, (or maybe change your mind and stay).
