Just started this and I already love it. The entire Tuco scene in Ep 2 was great. Can't wait to watch more of it, especially once Mike becomes more involved.

Finally started watching this. It's pretty good, seen the first three episodes. Now I remember why I liked Breaking Bad.

Potato do you know when season 2 will start?? I assume February. Anyways saw this, looks confirmed no Jesse or Walt in season 2 (as expected) but Gustavo could be possible. I wouldn't expect to see Walt or Jesse till maybe the last season or mid ways through the second last since they did say it will take place it bit during BB and a bit post BB. Jesse might show up before Walt but in the episode Saul first appears to them it seems like Jesse only heard of him and never met him. I guess Jesses friends may show up some time soon though, I always liked Badger moviepilot.com/posts/3607818?lt_source=external,manual

Although I don't know if they've started filming or not... if they haven't then they'll have to be really fast to get it out by that point. I'm not expecting Walt or Jesse, mainly because I think that they would just feel really forced if they were there. I definitely think we'll see Gus eventually though. It makes sense, too, because I think Saul already knew him during Breaking Bad. And I don't think Mike's met him yet in Better Call Saul.

Well I don't think Saul and Gus are going to have much interaction but Gus and Mike should have lots if he appears which I think he will. This show is sort of based around two different characters/ stories IMO but they do happen to cross at times. Mike wasn't as prominent in season 1 but I feel he will get more of a role in season 2. I assume they probably started filming, do we know if this is 10 or 13 episodes this time?? I sort of want 13. I expect to see Jesse and Walt in like season 5 (might be when the show ends), if the show is eventually going to progress to the point where the flashbacks Saul had become present day then it's hard to avoid them. I actually had a feeling they could have some episodes that take place in Season 5 of BB, there was an episode that spans several months when Walt is cooking without Jesse and he makes all that 80 million, they could do some stuff in there since that's really the only big gap in Breaking Bad where it just fast forwards ahead pretty much

You could actually have an entire season take place in just that one gap which had probably 4-5 months go by in the course of 10 minutes where all we see is just business stuff and cooking. Anywhere else may seem weird because every episode besides that one are pretty much only a day or week apart... Excluding the final two episodes which sees 2-3 months go by.
Yeah most of the content we actually see in Breaking Bad is over the course a year even though the show spans an entire 2 years (Walt goes from 50 in the first episode to 52 in the last). They just have gaps in two episodes all in season 5 that make the show timeline progress, not that anything interesting happended in that last gap though he was just out at the cabin and Jesse was a prisoner.

Season 2 is 13 episodes, so luckily it's longer than Season 1. Honestly, though, I'm only expecting 2-4 seasons. I don't think this show needs anymore than that. It would be cool if the last season dealt with Saul post-Breaking Bad.

The next two seasons should be more to do with actual lawyer stuff and then slowly getting to criminal same goes with Mike. Honestly I think Saul may commit suicide... I mean he really doesn't have anything left. No lawyer stuff of any kind, no connections (went undercover) and probably no family (I don't expect his brother to survive), the women probably ends up leaving him as well.

Hopefully Season 2 will step it up a bit. Season 1 was alright, but looking back not a whole lot happened. I think we'll start to see a lot more progress with Saul now though.

Yeah, there kinda needed to be a bit of a warm up season for a story like this in my opinion. But I'm confident it will speed up.

It's nice that they put this on Netflix before Season 2 came out. I hate it when shows don't put the most recent season up before the new one comes out. It's nice to be able to catch up on the last season before the new one airs.

But yeah, this season will start getting into the meat or Saul's illegal activities. It's a mini series after all so they don't have forever to get things moving. So pumped Fam.

Finished this in time before season 2 begins. I'm really excited for it since a lot more should go down. Although not a great deal actually happened in season 1, it was still really enjoyable, simply because Jimmy is so entertaining

Just watched the premiere, it was good.
The opening scene, I think I understand it now along with the one from the start of last season. Basically the scene in last season was the end of the line with him at his house watching the old tapes, I think the ending of the show is Jimmy committing Suicide, he's lost everything career wise and I assume his bother will die before the end of this show. The scene at the start of season 2 now takes place just before he goes home and he wrote "SG was here" as like his farewell. Basically I think every season we will get a bit more information on what happened after he went into the new identity in BB. Instead of building it up though it seems like they showed us the end game already and are working back. Just my prediction.
Overall the episode was good though, Mike is gonna be in trouble if that guy gets caught as you know he will start talking. However this whole thing is probably a plan by Nacho to get him arrested and then steal the hummer.
Also I have a feeling Mike may have followed him to the drop point anyways, I guess not follow since he knows where that's the place but I have a feeling he was there watching over.
