Watched the latest one just then it was kind of slower and I really enjoy the criminal episodes more... But this episode was kind of important I just wished Mike would have more screen time right now he's not really relevant I think they're taking a slow burn approach for Mike... and by that I mean it takes most of the season (or more) for us to get any pay offs with him. I think that's why people thought the first season of Breaking Bad was just good while the later ones were amazing. It just took time for the pay offs to come, and when they do come they're great. Hopefully the same will happen with Better Call Saul.

And that's also good because we know for sure that we're getting a Season 2 so they'll have at least 23 episodes to set everything up.

Episode 3 and 4 were both pretty good but I think Episode 2 was still the best. And that's mainly because there was a danger with Tuco. But this is still an awesome series. Episode 3 is my favourite so far it had a really good plot and I like that Nacho guy. Mike also had a better role and he's probably my favourite in this show so Do you know how many episodes season one will be?

Well I guess you have a point with building characters up and all but we know Mike has a big part as he is one of the regulars of the show only behind Saul. I wonder if Gus will have a part the actor said he'd be willing if he had a major role perhaps later on.

I don't mind 10 for this season since this is really the getting everything rolling kind of thing right now. Establishing characters and setting, atmosphere, etc. Breaking Bad also did a good job with that

The latest episode was decent tbh I kinda figured the condition Chuck has was not real and he's only affected from sunlight cause he's a damn vampire now staying inside. I think the last five minutes was the best since Mike is my favourite and seeing him get some character development really helps. Interested to see where the last part goes im guessing those cops at least the leader is from back in Philly days?
My prediction is Mike did something really bad and was going to be tried for it but he ended up fleeing and laying low as a toll booth guy then his buddy comes looking for him it makes sense they're there to bring him in why else have three back up cops? I'm guessing Saul will win him the case and bust him out though then maybe Mike moves on to Gus now.

You read people's posts but don't watch the show? Doesn't that spoil things?

The preview for the next episode made it look like they were getting his help on an investigation or something. But it'll be great to finally get a Mike centric episode. The last one was good. I think the main problem with this show so far is that there's no real danger... well, there was in the first few episodes with Tuco and Nacho, but these last couple haven't really had a big threat at all. Breaking Bad had that sense of danger since the first episode and kept it. Although I'm pretty sure when Nacho comes back (probably closer to the season finale) it'll get a lot more tense.

Also, did anyone else find the title for this episode weird? It was called Alpine Shepherd Boy. I know it was something in the episode, but it breaks the pattern of the episode names so far: Uno Mijo Nacho Hero Alpine Shepherd Boy It sort of bugs me TBH. This episode was originally called Jello. I wonder why they changed it.

Yeah seeing Mike with a lead role will be good now. I did not catch the preview so I was just speculating but Id love to hear about his past more. I don't think the danger can ever be the same as BB how Walt was just a 50 year old teacher trying to support his family and not get caught or killed cause he had a duty to his family. If you see a lawyer with criminals that isn't really a sign he is a criminal. I don't think Nacho and his gang are going to outright kill Saul either. And does he go by Saul yet? I see it a few times but everyone calls him Jimmy.

That may be why I didn't catch the name when I watched it but when I was setting the episode to record like 5 days before it aired I think it had the old name.

Wow, that was more Mike-centric than I was expecting... But that's a good thing. Mike's awesome and this episode did a good job of fleshing out his backstory. The whole murder plot was pretty satisfying. If I had one complaint, it'd be that it didn't really seem to have much to do with what's going on with Saul (other than that one scene), but next episode looks like it'll follow up with all of this a lot more so that's good.

Glad to hear of the Mike Centric episode though I been waiting for that. And not having Saul much doesn't bother me I thought they both where supposed to be main characters?
What bothers me though is I been watching Breaking Bad recently rewatching season 4 and 5 mostly and Mike doesn't really seem to be on the best terms with Saul they just seem like business partners like he's his lawyer and that's it. After all this time don't you think they would be friends?
I understand the benefit of not getting close with Saul just for undercover sakes but still. I can't wait to see how Saul kind of become such a corrupt lawyer though.

Also I think this show would be a lot better with Dean Norris too bad he's busy with Under The Dome but that show is amazingly popular.
Having Hank would just fit so much really. Unfortunate...

Pretty good episode one of the best yet and looks like my prediction was pretty close they had him on suspicion for a crime. Mike isn't too far from Gus now but I have a feeling he could fall in with someone else first as like a part time thing maybe under one of Gus. street bosses. No preview on that site so didn't get an idea for next week.
So I think we got a pretty good timeline now though. Kaylee was 10 in season 5 of BB I believe plus that point BB had been going on for a year so she was 9ish when it started. In this episode she couldn't have been more than 6. So isn't that big of a gap it seems

Mike's granddaughter looked way too old in that one scene though so I think that's just a casting screw up. Yeah, like I said earlier, it bugs me...

Most shows are more popular in the 1st season except Breaking Bad exploded on season 5 part 2.

Damn that episode was actually really good had the right mix of everything we seen so far imo. The show just keeps getting better and I was happy to see Mike and Saul working together here and Mike doing something like he did in Breaking Bad. Very cool episode that's probably it for the Kettleman thing though I have a feeling these last 3 episodes will move towards something larger. Hopefully something more with Mike then just a toll booth guy.
Also all these people specifically Chuck, Kim and the boss guy something has to happen to them Id think maybe they go out of business. Well I expect Chuck to pass away sometime but still these people seem important and not having them around in BB would be weird but not impossible I guess.
