So, as I said I while back I wanted to make a written series on here. I had several ideas for stories, and I might actually work on those but I'm not sure if I want to make those into a series and post them here. But I did have another interesting idea. I decided to write a series based on the lore and story of the game RuneScape (you may have noticed Newan and I talked about it in a thread in the game section). So the game has pretty interesting lore, but its not one story, there are many parts left out and open to interpretation. So I decided to write something that is BASED on the lore of the game but still VERY different. I'll not only add stuff that didn't happen in the game's lore but I'll also contradict it. For example, the stuff I describe in this prologue was never described in game. And I'll make sure people that don't know the game's lore (probably pretty much everyone) will still understand this series. So, this is the prologue. I hope the link works. It's a bit short, but I thought I should first see if people are interested in this series or not, before working on the first episode/chapter. So these are the names of the first episodes I have planned for the first season if people are interested in this series: The first season's story will be similar to Roman/Greek mythology in terms of story telling and content. |

Oh cool idea  will you make a game on this as well? And I read the first chapter it was pretty cool. But even I only know lore up to a certain point I have a gap from not doing ROTM and anything past MPD. But Freneskae is a different realm from the game right? But yeah it's still easy to understand. |

I don't think I'll make a game on this... I still have 2 Secrets of the Force games to host. But I considered hosting a minigame based on this lore once. And Freneskae is a location featured in the Fate of the Gods quest, so that's where this is based on. It's a different planet, not a different realm. But it will be explained in the first episode. |

Alright I just remember seeing the name. Well, it was mentioned way before Fate of the Gods. It is related to the Mahjarrat. So you probably heard about it in some Mahjarrat quest. |

Managed to finish it today. It's a bit longer than the previous episode, but still pretty short. I expect the episode length to increase over time as the stories become more complex. Also, I don't think "Nightmares of Mah" will work as a separate episode. I'll remove that episode and include elements from it in "Emptiness" and "A Story of Crystals". Oh I forgot about this sorry Pinda I just read chapter 2 and really enjoyed it. I like the whole concept of Runescape fanfic with the elder gods and such. Since I recently did "one of a kind" and "heart of stone" I know more about the dragonkin and the elder gods Oh episode 3 isn't working it said I had to log into Google drive and ask for permission so you may have gotten an email but I think that's like editing rights which I don't want. You might have made a mistake when uploading it. |

Good chapter. Zaros  tbh I didn't even know that Zaros was part of the second line of gods I thought there was another between Seren and himself and the elder gods. But yeah the story is interesting I like how it follows with the real story but you add good creative plot lines to the kinda dark spots that are not in the game and your writing is good as well My prediction is that the story will continue to like where the game is at now with the gods returning and stuff. |

My plan is to move beyond events that are currently happening in game. I have an ending for the sixth-age in mind, I doubt it is were Jagex will take the story, but it is where my story will end. Oh and Zaros's relation to the Elder Gods is revealed in FOTG... actually most of the stuff I wrote is based on FOTG so far. |
