Yeah its kind of like hiking and stuff except you eat crappy food, sleep in a nasty tent, and take dumps in the woods. It kind of sucks. Then you have never truly gone camping. Pray tell, oh lord of smelly, damp camping equipment, What is "True camping". |

When I went camping I burnt down half of the surrounding forest it was so funny. How'd that happen?  I took a can of axe and a lighter and torched the place. |

Cooking pizza on a fire? Doesn't seem easy. And I'm fairly certain I'll never try camping No I mean like we used these things:  You have two pieces of bread and all the pizza goodness in there and you stick it in a fire and then eat it with your hands when it's properly toasted or eat it with a spoon like I did. You can also use those things for desert by like putting pie fillings and chocolate chips in bread. I think those are called pot-pies. But yeah those are really good. I like making apple pie ones. |

If you treat the tent right it won't be damp and smelly True camping is bringing nothing but what you need and still finding a way to have fun, whether it be looking at the stars or raiding other camp sites. IDK, I just have a lot of good memories at Boy Scout camp hence the reason why I work there now. Except for the lack of women, being with a bunch of guys after a while gives you a creepy feeling. |

If you treat the tent right it won't be damp and smelly True camping is bringing nothing but what you need and still finding a way to have fun, whether it be looking at the stars or raiding other camp sites. Have you ever made a Polish Canon? 1) Empty a few cans 2) Cut holes in both sides 3) Duct tape them together 4) Spray Axe or some kind of flammable gas into it. 5) Light it and it makes a "boom" size (the bigger the can the louder the boom) *Note* Be aware that flames may shoot from each side, the cans get haught, and you will probably get hurt in some way. ^That is camping. My first year of Boy Scout camp one of the older kids made one out of three of those huge soup cans, he broke his wrist when it went boom. |
