Since I know Potato watches this show and Pinda said he started it, I thought I'd create a thread so we'd discuss it. (Pssst, use the spoiler tag just in case some have not caught up.)

Favorite season? Honestly, I can't really tell what was in which season since I watched it altogether over the course of a month. Plus there aren't many boundaries that keep the seasons separate from each other. But I really liked Season 4. The Tyrion plot was the best, although everything with Dany isn't as good as it was in Season 2 and 3.

Dany shined in Season 3 mostly but {Spoiler} sadly she started making mistakes in Meereen which was sad, especially with Jorah. {Spoiler Season 4} My favourite plotlines were Sansa/Littlefinger, Arya/The Hound, and Brienne/Pod. So funny.

But it didn't matter because a lot of the scenes were still shocking (especially the ending to The Mountain and the Viper ).

Because of it I chose to watch the episodes live rather than wait to watch them after school on Monday. So what happened with Oberyn was horrifying, and then Ygritte, and then I was EXTREMELY scared watching Brienne fight the Hound. It's a tense show. How did you spoil yourself?

I've mostly just heard the spoilers online or from people who read the books. I knew Tyrion would kill Tywin when I was still on Season 1. And then the Red Wedding's pretty much impossible to avoid before you get to that point. But the show's changing some things (like the Brienne and Hound fight) so anything can still happen.

I can't wait to see Arya meet Tyrion and Dany in Essos. That trio's going to be awesome. (Just my speculation.) I knew about the red wedding too, but it was still sad. I loved both Cat and Robb.

The spoilers are partly my fault too... once I got some of them I wanted to know them all. But I think the show will change a lot of stuff since they only want to do 7 seasons or so and George RR Martin's not going to be done with the series for at least another few years...

But it gets really hard to avoid spoilers anyway. Whenever I watch a video of Game of Thrones on Youtube there's always someone spoiling a major plot point.

Whenever I watch a video of Game of Thrones on Youtube there's always someone spoiling a major plot point. So if you want to avoid spoilers for Season 5 and anything else in the future, never read the Youtube comments of Game of Thrones videos... there's always that one person.

Yeah, most of them are on Megashare. But Megashare stopped uploading things during the beginning Season 4 so at that point you won't be able to use it anymore.

Whenever I watch a video of Game of Thrones on Youtube there's always someone spoiling a major plot point. Which is exactly why I plan to read them. I'm going to see spoilers anyway so might as well get them while reading the books.

I don't plan on watching 9 episode on the same day again It was much more than I intended to watch. I plan to spread out the remaining episodes over a greater amount of time.

Just watched the final two episode of season 3... some very sad and unexpected deaths... Did you cry at the red wedding It was so amazingly done, and Michelle Fairley who plays Catelyn is a brilliant actress and probably the best on the show. But since you've finished season 3... isn't Daenerys badass

Are all 4 seasons based on the first book? Or is it like 1-2 seasons per book? Or completely different?

Are all 4 seasons based on the first book? Or is it like 1-2 seasons per book? Or completely different? Season 1 is with Book 1, and then Season 2 is with Book 2, but Season 3 and 4 cover Book 3 with elements from Book 4 and 5.
