Well filming for the first episode has completed and filming for the second has begun. I'm gonna release the episodes one at a time over ten weeks. This series will be more episodic than my others and every episode will have a beginning, middle, and end. But it will still have a main story to keep it all together. Yeah I like episodes like that I tried to do that with Underworld but it doesn't really work with Valeyard... |

So that means 10 episodes in a season? Also, I'm starting to look forward to this more as I begin to see more episodes of Supernatural. |

Yeah, for The Ruthless Mercenaries is was all kinda connected as one big story with all the episodes flowing together. I mean, there were two "standalone" episodes, if that's what you wanna call them, but still. For my next series, I'll probably do it like TCW maybe where there are single episode stories and stories that extend over the course of several episodes or the whole show. And what I've seen of Valeyard so far makes me see how it's more difficult to make each episode have a beginning and end.  |

The episodic thing is good since most of the series on here are just one giant story as a whole. Did you decide that this would be in your own made up universe?

I was looking back at the Ambush Series website and realized there was a lot of potential in those ideas that never saw the light of day. Episode 1 is 275 photos
Episode 2 is 243 photos
Episode 3 is 186 but it'll probably get up to 250.

At least, until you over think everything like me (for HOT) and then you've got like 20 story lines you have and you know you want to put them all together but you've made it so in-depth to make sure it's all well explained that you struggle to actually complete the story. Yeah... But back to this. I'm looking forward to see what kind of story ideas you have. And I'll be interested to see how you'll make it complex considering how each episode is like a "standalone". That'll probably make it easier to explain things though. |

Completing an entire 200 plus picture episode the day it's supposed to come out isn't very fun. |
