Revival shouldn't even be in this half so really if it was in normal order you could say all episodes in the first half of Season 5 didn't really standout.

Cause if someone watching the show for the first time saw the Onderon arc first episode as the premiere they would shut the TV off and never watch again. They needed something to have some kind of hope in season 5. |

Honestly I could really make the argument season 5 is the worst season even over one. Honestly, it wasn't that amazing IMO. It had like only 5 stories and some dragged out too long/didn't have enough to make them 4 parters. Whereas season 1 had more variety and I didn't get bored with any of the episodes in the slightest. Season 5 just had cool overall stories and a handful of "wow" moments. |

Season 5 in general was handled sort of poorly. First, they shouldn't have made it all 4 part arcs. Having 2-3 per season is good, but when you overuse them and have the entire season be 4 parters then it just gets tiring to watch them. Especially when the stories don't work as 4 part stories. Onderon could have been 3 episodes (and the last one could have been an actual assault on the capital... the Separatists abandoned Onderon for no reason), younglings could have been 3, and the droid arc could have been two (Secret Weapons and then Gregor). There just wasn't a lot of variety. Even though it had two arcs that were some of the best the show's ever done, that was it really. Hondo was used pretty well though.

Droid Arc and Youngling Arc was too kiddish. It was just really bad and long. I don't even think I watched some of them TBH. I liked the space battle in the Youngling Arc and the Separatist attack on Hondo's base but that was really it.

Onderon was sort of anticlimactic IMO. The battle in the last episode was good, but it shouldn't have been the battle that won them back the planet. It was far in the outskirts, and from what we'd seen so far the rebels were losing. I think the whole part with Dooku telling Kilani (?) to kill the king and leave the planet was sort of an "Oh crap, we forgot about the capital" moment by the producers. They had all this stuff happening elsewhere but they didn't even show the main battle they had been building up to. It was still all good though, not the best but good (all in my opinion). |

To be honest season 5 probably didn't get very good ratings And the big problem with this show was it was inconsistent in the content. Sometimes they had great episodes and sometimes just a bunch of half assed ones. |

I dunno if they aired Sacrifice as the final episode I just wouldn't have been happy or pleased with it.
