But Dooku would easily kill Vader in his suit as well actually it would be close. Malgus is a lot physically stronger than Dooku he would pick him up and throw him....

People get the impression that Malgus is powerful because of the trailer which depicts him defeating a jedi master, (obviously unskilled one). Malgus is a child compared to Vader.

But Dooku would easily kill Vader in his suit as well actually it would be close. Malgus is a lot physically stronger than Dooku he would pick him up and throw him.... But Dooku's force powers are far superior. He could just fly to dodge Malgus' attacks |

Sidious> Malgus so Vader > Malgus Actually he killed many Jedi in the trailers. He actually physically chocked one with one arm and threw him/her over his shoulder he cut down a few more. Then he fought Ven Zallow who was one of the most skilled Jedi masters from the deceived book he was the leader of the temples forces he wasn't weak and he made quick work of him. He killed the Zabrak on the station with ease after his master died. |

Like other people have said I don't really know a lot about Malgus but I definitely think he'd beat Vader. Vader isn't exactly that powerful in his suit. Malgus comes from the Old Republic era and is used to war and fighting while Vader rarely sees combat. Plus Malgus is a war leader and tactician he probably has fought countless Jedi and soldiers in combat where as Vader probably at least in his suit has not fought half the battles he has. Plus Malgus has fought in a REAL war. Droids vs Clones isn't the greatest example of a War. A bunch of disposable soldiers vs a bunch of mindless droids. Absolutely nothing at stake. Where as Malgus fights in a war with real enemy's and much more at stake in a galactic conflict. ....you do know that the war was fought in places where people lived... right... |

One of Vader's major assets is using his force abilities to use the area to his advantage (such as throwing things at Luke at Bespin). But in the Geonosis Arena when it's all neutral he can't use that. He's not fast and in this surrounding it will hurt him. Malgus would beat him, especially in an open flat area like this.

Malgus' advantages:
1. Force lightning
2. Agility
3. General strength

I do, however, think Vader is without question stronger in the force. But in such an open area, I'm not sure it would do much good.

Civilian deaths how unfortunate... Exactly, they are unfortunate. Even though no one ever dies and no consequences are seen from the war like less luxury goods on Coruscant and stuff. It's shocking that droids that March in a standard formation actually beat Clones who can think for themselves. Probably why the Umbara arc is more interesting then the other clone arcs. |
