Well, here is the conclusion. Hope it wasn't too much of a terrible game to play.
At last, the group had made it to the Darkest Soul's lair. It was a piece of one of the bleakest landscapes, with no life to bear, or any sound to whisper. Just rock and ash. Sadly, the group had been shortened in numbers yet again during the other night. The Doctor and Galadriel had been found murdered when Neo was searching for water. The Dimension Master now felt a heavy guilt hunker down in his mind. The results of their loyalties did surprise him though. Galadriel was found to be loyal, yet the Doctor was revealed to have had his mind poisoned, morphed by the Darkest Soul to be his minion. The Dimension Master was saddened to see such tragedies occur, but at least they could live out their lives in their own times again without any knowledge of these gruesome events.
"So we reach the monster's domain at last." Stromtaan said softly as they walked through the flat and level ground. The Dimension Master moved a few steps forward and called out.
"I know you hide here rival! I call you out, to see just what your title can do for yourself in combat. Face me and my allies, or forever be named the darkest of cowards!" There was a tone of bitterness that had risen in the Master's voice that began to set the others on edge.
"You will never know the gravity of the consequences you have just set in motion." a whispery voice said from sounded like all over. "Your deaths are now assured." Within the blink of an eye, a swirling mass of pure malice and evil erupted from the ground in front of them. The Darkest Soul earned his name from appearance alone. His body, a twister of all evil in the Universal Space and eyes a soul piercing yellow.
"Attack with all force!" The Dimension Master yelled. "Send this demon to the very ends of infinity!" His calls came too late though. The Darkest Soul leapt at them all and began to consume them with his draining power. The Dimension Master began to kneel, weakening faster and faster with each breath. There was no way out, unless...
"Never will I fail against you!" he screamed with all sound he could carry. A staff materielised into his hands. He spun it and slammed the bottom of it into the ground. An unearthly shattering was felt. The Darkest Soul was blasted with such force and such might, he was rammed straight into a rock wall a hundred metres away. The monster fell to the ground with a defeated thud.
"It is done, yet so easily." the Dimension Master said weakly as he used his staff to stand up.
"Not entirely." said Stromtaan, who then jumped high into the air, landing only a few feet from the Darkest Soul's corpse. An explosion was heard from behind the Dimension Master's back and when he looked around he saw Neo and Sylar lying on the ground disappearing. The Joker smiled gleefully while tossing one of his bombs in his hand.
"Here's a little present from me to you." he said deviously as he hurled the bomb straight at the Master. The Dimension Master felt a fool, an idiot, a poor excuse of a judge in character as he lay injured. When he looked up he saw Stromtaan, but he looked different. He was larger, bleaker than usual and now carried a pair of yellow eyes.
"Your naivety is laughable Master." he mocked. "Did you ever put into account that I may have had something to do with this? When you last defeated me, I contemplated those words you told me, I was never the Darkest Soul, well I took those words on board. I searched for the real Darkest Soul, which I did, but he was in poor shape after his brutal defeat at the hands of your predecessor. I then gave him some of my power to strengthen him, but because it was still my power, I now controlled him. He was my puppet, my vessel to carry out the things I wanted done."
"Then...why...did you...help destroy it?" The Dimension Master struggled to say.
"My plan wasn't without its hitches. Even though I could control his power, I couldn't control his free will. He fled from me. I couldn't find him, but I knew who could. You with your title know every nook and cranny in this world, so I decided to offer my services as a means to find him. The best part was your pathetic idea of using others from the universes to help you. From the very first night, I contacted those I believed willing to go under my command and so I began to pick off your helpers without lifting a finger. What was better was that even those loyal to you got a bit carried away and killed other loyals they believed to be traitors. And look where that got them. Just one traitor. All I needed was at least one and I now do at a bargain price." Stromtaan patted the Joker's shoulder.
"Sorry Master, but I wanted a bit of fun around here, but since the only people left to play with are you two sad saps, I think I'll be leaving like you promised."
"Of course, as I said, a bargain price." Stromtaan swished his hand and the Joker was sent back to Gotham, only knowing the events as a mere dream.
"Now, with you a crumpled heap, the Darkest Soul now absorbed by me and not a single being to help you, I shall now take vengeance." Stromtaan said wickedly. "It's my turn to take centre stage in this world!" Stromtaan made a spear appear in his hand and lifted it high above his head, ready to strike its target. The Dimension Master closed his eyes. He knew he deserved such a fate for being such a fool. The spear was about to head right for his face, when a light from the sky burned down on Stromtaan. It dissolved in a second and a small group of people stood surrounding the dark being. Some were cloaked like the Dimension Master, while some were metallic and looked robotic. The largest, a metal titan with moss growing on his shoulders stepped forward.
"Stromtaan." he said with a deep, distorted voice. "By order of the Dimensional Masters, you are under arrest. The only reply was Stromtaan attempting to blast them all when he slammed his fists to the ground, but a shield erupted around him and the blast fired right back at him. As he staggered back to his feet, the metallic being helped the Dimension Master up.
"You did better than we expected Dalavap."
"Thank you Worrell." the Dimension Master said as he winced with the pain of being back on his feet. "Things shouldn't have gone as badly as they did though for all of you to come."
"We all makes mistakes Dalavap. Right now, we must see what we can do with this monstrosity."
"Killing him is no better than his level of thinking." a cloaked female said.
"I agree completely." said Dalavap. "Let us send him to a world where he may understand his actions." Everyone nodded as Dalavap joined the circle. He then spoke clearly with power emanating from his voice.
"Stromtaan, for the crimes and cruelty you have committed, I Dalavap, the 15th Dimension Master of the Universal Space banish you to the Quantam World. May remorse find its way into your mind." All of them splayed out their hands and a white twister encircled around Stromtaan.
"Victory always has a price Master." he said darkly. "I know this." with those last words the twister exploded into sparks and Stromtaan no longer stood. Dalavap stood motionless, when Worrell put a hand on his shoulder.
"You have done the best you can Dalavap. We all have."
"Again, thank you." Dalavap looked up at the sky, twinkling with the lights of endless universes. The others joined in with his gaze, realising they never fully enjoyed its beauty until now.
The End.
Thanks for playing everyone. I thought I didn't do too bad, but I think that's up to you guys. Congrats to Ivar for winning and I hope you all had fun with playing it. All of your roleplay was great to read and watch. Again, thank you as Dalavap would say
